L'Antre Deux Verres

Superb food and a great selection of wines can be found at this surprisingly private and quaint restaurant, in the heart of incredible St Emilion. The outside dining area offers a commanding view of the town, and an opportunity to people watch the tourists. The only bizarre point to make is that they insisted on not changing our cutlery for the second course. Reasonably priced too

Beautiful meal we had the confit duck and the duck skewers both exceptionally well made! The wines were also gorgeous - my particular favourite was the Chateau Gueyrosse 2015 and the Fanny - Chateau cotes de cassagne 2019
The whole experience overlooking the beautiful town and church is thoroughly enjoyable.

We stopped here for a light lunch between tastings and had an enjoyable time. We got the charcuterie board to share and two glasses of wine, it was absolutely delicious. We saw many other foods being prepared and taken out, it looked homemade and all looked soooo good, would love to have come back to try another meal.

We had an amazing dinner here. Both the duck breast and the pork chop were great and the canellées for dessert were out of this world. Great atmosphere and good service. Highly recommend.

We had only one night in St Emillion and asked our hosts where we should eat - they recommended L’Antre and I’m glad they did. On a terrace above the main town we experienced great service and truly delicious regional food. The menu was comfortingly small but varied and with daily specials. The food was really excellent, service attentive and the atmosphere calm and relaxed. Would recommend!

Absolutely brilliant meal matched to a lovely secluded dining spot. The service was impeccable as was the wine list, I wish I could give a 6 to this wonderful restaurant 💕

Terrific food in a superb setting. We had scallops as an entree, prawns and pork chop as mains and pain perdue and cannelés for desert and it was all delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing French food and cozy atmosphere. The owner is a wonderful chef and super friendly. The meat was incredible!! The traditional desserts absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

Lovely chilled atmosphere and great wine and charcuterie/cheese. A lovely vue as well and less touristic than other places, I really recommend it!

Surprisingly authentic and unspoiled location build into the rocks with very friendly staff creating an excellent cuisine and atmosphere...
