This is a great bar / 'informal' restaurant, with a great local wine selection and of course cold beer! We found the staff to be very friendly and courteous, with great 'wine manners'. They always give you a taste before filling your glass at the table. If its not to your taste, they'll recommend another and let you taste that.
It's St-Emilion priced, but that's a given.
We liked going there very much and highly recommend it. It is also a favourite of local residents, which speaks volumes.
Table reservations are recommend for evening meals in busy times.

We visited this restaurant yesterday during our visit to Saint Emilion. We both had the magret de canard with vegetables and salad instead of the fries. I can honestly say it was the best meal I’ve had so far during this trip. We also had a bottle of white wine, the pavlova dessert and coffee. Everything was excellent and highly recommended !

Delicious french food, Friendly service. Went for late 2pm lunch and had great duck confit and squid. Overall fantastic experience with many wines. Highly recommend.

Great selection of wine and a great big portion of a landaise salade! They offer it with bread and the stuff was so kind in offering water as well.

My wife and I stopped in for a casual lunch and were quite happy with everything. Our server was wonderful, made some excellent wine recommendations, and the food was cooked wonderfully. Definitely worth a stop.

An excellent restaurant that complements food, wine and service brilliantly. Eat here for a meal, a snack or sample some of the regions best wines. A must do.

Had lunch here today, really friendly staff who spoke some English, the cold meat plate was awesome and our main dishes (duck breast & pork loin) were really nice too. Good wine selection as well and cute overall set up!

The whole experience was made perfect by our lovely waiter Clemont who helped with the wine pairing and made some excellent recommendations. Oysters to start and duck breast for main . I asked for the creme brulee for dessert but when Clemont asked me " are you sure" I knew that he had something in mind......
A simple dessert of brioche bread, dipped in egg , fried and served with salted caramel and ice cream. Once again he was spot on. Thank you Clemont for tonight and looking forward to returning in the summer

Lovely spot! The owner is very welcoming and we tried some delicious wines. The food was also lovely and they had an amazing cabbage dish on the menu. Really good ambience. I imagine it gets very busy in the summer! But it was equally a nice cosy spot to stop for some drinks and lunch on a rainy November afternoon. Limited veggie options.

Top place, very nice people working in it. The duck burger is innovative and really tasty, recommended.

Great wine and oysters.
A short stop for a drink and something to eat. We opted to go for a local wine (easy choice) with some helpful guidance from the waiter. After a little confusion (my fault) we had 2 glasses of wine and then a whole bottle! We then decided to try the oysters. They went very well with the local wine we'd chosen. (Red - Grain Bleu 2022). It's a really pleasant place to stop at and one of the first you see when walking into Saint Emilion. Take care with times though as we went back (to use the loo) only to find it closed at 2pm - like a lot of St Emilion appears to do.

Visited recently and had lunch and a few drinks here. The duck burger & red tuna was incredible (compliments to the chef!). But the best experience was our server Armand… who was patient despite me not speaking French very well.

Loved it. A casual, relaxed atmosphere, yet without compromising the food quality. Definitely a go-to place. Caring staff quickly provided water for my dog and a convenient seating place at an edge of the area, so that it'd be convenient both for me and other guests.

We are still sitting here and can't get over how food and service is amazing! Everything we ordered is unreal! Squid, oysters, sea bass, cheese... Wine... Service so polite and friendly. Highly recommended!!

The duck burger with Fois is worth a visit. Very good craft beer.

I rarely leave reviews. This place was phenomenal. Stopped in prior to a wine tour to grab a quick appetizer (burrata) and it was so good we had to come back after the wine tour for a full meal. Food was delicious, staff was incredibly friendly and even offered up their personal own personal Wi-Fi hot spot (who does that?!..so nice!). Paco and Momo attended us and they were wonderful. Definitely try it out, you won’t be disappointed!
