Fantastic fresh food lovely little restaurant with great service and atmosphere. Not cheap but worth every penny. We spent 200 euro ( 100 each ) on a fantastic 3 course meal with a glass of champagne each a glass of grand cru classe each 2016, and Sauternes each so very reasonable for what we had they catered exceptionally for our allergies and dietary needs although it doesn’t have a star it’s well worth a Michelin star 🌟 thanks for a lovely birthday

This was the best meal of my life. The foie gras was divine. If you’re in Saint Emilion and don’t come here you are wasting your life away.

If there were more than 5 stars, I would choose the maximum number. This was an unbelievable experience. From the first to the last bite, everything was no less than perfect. I recommend visiting there ASAP.

To be frank I don't usually write reviews, but this was one of the best meals of my life. A truly incredible culinary experience. The husband and wife who cook and run the joint are brilliantly skilled and passionate about their jobs. Its shows in the service, and you can taste it in the food. When I asked them why they don't have a Michelin star, the host simply said "we don't want that, too many restrictions". Their food was well beyond the caliber of some Michelin star restaurants I've been too, all without the pretentiousness of those wanky establishments. I will go out of my way to get there again in the future. Do yourself a favor and book a reso and go here. You will not regret it.

Absolutely a truly beautiful restaurant, decor is lovely, the tables at the front are private and very romantic. The staff and chefs really make you feel special and helped celebrate our special occasion. The food was fantastic and the best fish I've ever had. Just note that this lunch takes time, so slow down and enjoy the moment.

An absolute delight!
One of the best gastronomic experiences l’ve had!
We were so impressed that ate two evenings in a row there.
My intuition tells me that very likely the next time we return there, the restaurant will be granted a Michelin star!
Bravo to the chef and to the whole team!

A Michelin star level experience (no star, but the food and service worthy of it) without the pomp and circumstance. Excellent, attentive service, without overdoing things, cosy ambiance, wine choices from the affordable and tasty to the gastronomically pricey. The Rochemorin Blanc was especially delicious. Above all, a delightful, elegant approach to food: finesse and quality of fresh ingredients. And homemade canneles with yummy rum flavour: The best I’ve had in Bordeaux.

Absolutely spectacular luncheon! From the delightful amuse bouche to the delicious walnut tart - everything was fantastic. After the amuse bouche for the entree we had squid with linguini and roasted duck foie gras and sweetbreads. Bothe entrees perfectly cooked and delicious. I had the such, perfectly cooked and moist and my spouse had the Jersey beef. Also perfectly cooked. Wines were specially pared for our entrees and plats and they were he perfect accompaniment. The desserts were beautiful and flavorful and we had a long discussion over which was best. I’m going with the walnut tart! With a beautiful golden dusted walnut on top! All together our bill came to about 200€ but it was worth every penny. The staff was quite accommodating with my poor attempt to speak French and they had wonderful recommendations. Everything was as delicious as it was beautiful!

While exploring the wonderful town we stopped by the restaurant and asked if there was availability that day for lunch and they were able to accommodate us. We found we were lucky as others were being turned away so we would recommend reservations.
We went for a bigger lunch menu as we thought it was a bit more interesting. My wife and I both had different choices to get a wider appreciation of the menu and found every dish to be well prepared and a wonderful blend of ingredients.
We also appreciated the availability of good wine by the glass to allow us to pair it with our dishes as well as trying new local wines.

Brilliant meal, and thank you for the candle on dessert for my birthday. Need to book in advance as it gets full quickly

Absolutely wonderful. Probably the best restaurant we have visited since we came to St. Emillion and we have been to some highly recommended Michelin recommendations. Staff were so invested in ensuring that their customers got the best experience. Our waitress patiently described each menu selection. It was a meal to remember.

Amazing restaurant in the old town. The food is perfect portions with surprising combinations of flavours that just work. Wine list is extensive and represents many famous regions in France. Terrific friendly service as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in France. Amazing location, great dishes with attention to detail, pleasant atmosphere. The best canele I’ve tried in Bordeaux they give you to accompany coffee. Would for sure return when in St Emillion ❤

Wow, wow, wow! We weren't sure how the dinner service was going to go since it started to rain at the beginning of the first seating, but everything was absolute perfection. The service and location were both excellent, but every course was sublime. The husband and wife team really excel here, and you definitely should not miss a dinner here.

We were lucky to get a last minute booking but didn’t know how lucky until we ate the food. Every course was absolutely delicious and blew me away. As a vegetarian you don’t get many variations of food to eat in St Emillion but here you have great dishes to try. Best meal of our holiday

Amazing Asian fusion cuisine and good wine selection in a very quaint atmosphere. The combination of flavors, the food pairings and the presentation were perfect. In my view, Michelin Star worthy. I’m glad we decided to go. The three course meal is between $48 and $65 per person, excluding the wine.

Perfect meal.
The service was great and food was out of this world.
We enjoyed our 2 hour food tour with the great wine pairing.
I definitely recommend booking it in advance.

beautiful setting in an ancient building. Friendly staff. My 9 year old son loves the steak and desert. Very innovative dishes with modern touch. Set menu only but the chef could customize for children.
