Le Bistrot du Clocher

Le Bistrot du Clocher is a small, lovely all-day restaurant in Saint Emilion. Located in the upper yard of the old town next to the cathedral, it offers an enchanting setting. The service is excellent, and the food was fantastic. We had two French pizzas and local wine. There are no words to describe the moment we had in the middle of this antique town.

Reaching Saint Emilion is an experience in itself, as you drive through the middle of the vineyards, surrounded by the lush greenery and rows of grapevines that define the region. This scenic drive sets the stage for the charm and beauty that await in the town.

Les plats étaient très bon, les frites sont faites maison, la mayonnaise également, le pain est excellent et la carte est diversifiée.

Ce restaurant a conservé son nom mais cela semble bien être le seul élément qui le raccroche au passé. On entre dans un restaurant qui n'oublie pas être au milieu d'un des plus beau vignoble du monde côté déco mais qui est très marqué par une cuisine italienne savoureuse. Des plats de "pastas" excellents ou des pizzas originales (essayez la végétarienne !!!) et gourmandes. Une proposition gastronomique qui favorise la qualité à un prix raisonnable qui n'existait pas (ou mal) à Saint Emilion... Vivement l'été pour profiter de la terrasse extérieure sous le Clocher du village...

Se eu tivesse visto a nota do restaurante antes, não teria vindo almoçar aqui, o que seria um erro. Atendimento eficiente, comida gostosa e com um preço razoável.

Superbe pizza dégustée ce week-end après la course de Saint Emilion. On a pris La Clocher avec un petit verre du coin, c'était top !

Je ne comprends pas les critiques si dures à l'encontre de cet établissement. Cuisine maison, portion généreuse et service agréable avec en plus une grande attention portée aux règles sanitaires actuelles. Merci pour ce moment sympa et bon courage pour la saison !

Très bon restaurant avec une superbe vue.
Les serveurs sont très agréables et arrangeant lorsqu'une averse passe par là.
Le confit de canard était délicieux je recommande.
