Restaurant: overall excellent. Beautiful setting/atmosphere and tasty food. What I enjoyed the most though was the selection of wines by the glass. Great selections from their own vineyard as well as elsewhere. Prices may look higher than usual for by the glass, but the quality is outstanding. It is ultimately an amazing value. The one aspect of the meal that deserves attention is the desserts which were not at the same level as the rest.

Hotel: our room was very nice. Beautiful and spacious. A good value and we would prefer staying here over the town. Two smaller constructive points: the shower did not drain properly and would flood into the bathroom which we had to mop up with a bath mat and the pillows offered no support (squish down to basically nothing when laying on them).

Stunning restaurant! They fit us in with the young children and we had the best meal of our trip! Every single course was perfectly timed, amazingly cooked and interesting, I could not fault any course.
Would not be surprised to see this with 2 stars very soon

The best time during my time in Bordeaux was here. Bread is an essential to every French meal, so when these bread came out, it was so warm and fluffy. I don’t have a picture of it because I consumed it so fast and asked for seconds. I came around 2pm for lunch and the food was amazing. Service was phenomenal. We had another wine tasting later that day so we asked for a rushed lunch service, which they politely accommodated. If I had a wedding or party I would definitely book the venue.

Incredible food, cycled past the morning of and booked for the evening. Turned out to be a great decision. Level of attention, the wine and surroundings. Perfection

Les Belles Perdrix is a wonderful restaurant nested in a lush green vineyard, the outdoor patio is stunning, the service remarkable.
Loved how the savory items looked like dessert, particularly the duck disguised as a carrot cake, all tasted delicious. Maybe some of the desserts were a bit too adventurous for my taste as I find rose flavor overpowering.
But it’s a wonderful and very creative place and obviously their wine is stunning.

The warmest and most welcoming of staff and consistently incredible food from start to finish, along with a beautiful room and view. I cannot stress how friendly and dedicated the team at Les Belles Perdrix were, unfussy and unpretentious but providing an excellent meal all the same without feeling like you were stuck in a Michelin simulacrum.

We booked lunch and later on the winery tour through email. The correspondence was seamless. Prompt response and very cordial personnel handling this. The place was outstanding. The atmosphere was so dreamy while food was excellent. It was more a casual elegant type of setting because you can see the vineyard outside and the restaurant opens up to the outside. What I like most about this place is when you order coffee they move you to outside terrace with sycamore (I think) trees and you sit under them while being served the most creative petit four. The view of the vineyard was expansive with St Emillion as backdrop. Afterwards we took the winery tour. The facility was only renovated to the highest standard 2 years ago. So modern and impressive. They showed us the whole property. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

Outstanding! We had lunch here and even in the winter the view is spectacular. This was by far the best meal we had in Bordeaux during our recent visit - fantastic service, exquisite, inventive cuisine perfectly executed, excellent wine list - just a terrific experience.

We stayed at the B&B for 2 nights and had dinner at Les Belles Perdrix. The experience was so amazing that I am planning for my next trip here. The guest room is well furnished, spacious, comfy and clean. The swimming pool is so beautiful and located in the midst of vineyards. The restaurant is the best one I’ve personally been to in a while. From the ingredients, taste and presentation for the courses, to the excellent wine list and recommendations, to the well trained staff and attentive maître d, the restaurant speaks of high quality.

Absolutely outstanding. One of the best meals I've had in years with a perfect balance across all courses from start to finish. Fine wine list as well and very complete, including wines from outside Bordeaux. Service top rate and just an excellent presentation.

This is a review for Les Belles Perdix restaurant at Troplong-Mondot.

The restaurant was amazing. I am not sold it is the best restaurant I have ever been to (I think Social Eating House in London is still #1), but it has been off the charts amazing. Definitely makes top 5.

Amazing food - French with a modern twist.

Great wine list - had a 2005 Montrose which in London/Mayfair restaurant would have been 2.5x the price. They didn’t have our other favourite Bordeaux wine in stock so we just had 1 bottle. I think the selection of the wines is vast, but I think could have been bigger still. I found selection of the wines by the glass to be quite mediocre actually - all were quite young wines, nothing premium - so we had gone for a bottle.

But overall the restaurant is amazing. 5***** - zero doubt about that.

Excelent experience, the step lunch was perfect. Wine selection is enormous and attention is very much at the same level. The place offers an amazing view and outdoor seating. The tour was also nice.

A daily feast for three weeks in France… Frankly by the third week, the fine dining playbook was becoming stale, with beautiful plates satisfying the eyes more than the stomach a little too often. But then Les Belles Perdrix happened, and I was once again reminded of why we indulge at all in fine dining. That we come, to have our senses pleased, our imagination tickled. Beauty in form needs to be equally matched by substance.

Bacon strips lining up across a bed of mushrooms on a wafer disc. Like plowed fields on a farm. Beneath that, Guinea fowl stew a perfect harmony of umami.

From the flower pot we pluck the fruit of the earth; two mini tarts of lemon and fresh herbs combining a sharp acidity that cleanses the palate and awakens the senses. Declaring in no uncertainty — the afternoon must go on.

Sautéed squid lounging around a seabed. Sea bream for the sea rocks and cured salmon rolled up like corals under the sea. Flaky textures, juicy textures with a chewy bite. Squid and bream skate across the surface of the broth. It’s a shellfish broth, intense but delicate, a work of finesse.

For 50€ this is 3 courses on paper, but there’s still the amuse-bouche and petit fours which altogether make for a very gratifying meal. Clearly Chefs David Charrier and Adrien Salavert care about substance as much as presentation. This is quality served up at great value.

Incredible experience. Between the exceptional food, great service, fantastic wine, and beautiful space/view, this is a “must visit” and deserves more than one Michelin star.

Really good dinner here with a young and friendly waitstaff. One of the starters of Dublin bay prawn with lobster jus was exquisite. Definitely worthy of a Michelin star. Must order the wine produced at their own vineyard as well, which is quite good.

Outstanding gastronomic experience for a very reasonable price for lunch. The "Moments Suspendus" formula for 50 EUR was outstanding and came with excellent amuse-bouche and desserts.
We came while on holidays with our daughter and we certainly weren't as well dressed and classy like the rest, but the staff has been more than welcoming and super nice to our daughter.
I would totally recommend a detour while on a wine tasting tour of St Émilion!

I’ve been to a lot of winery restaurants around the place, I can’t think of a better experience in terms of food/wine, location, service, not to mention value.

Highly recommended for those in bordeaux.
