Very good restaurant. Ribs, Steak and Cod meals were delicious.
Only niggle was a little over priced, however, all other restaurant prices are the same but the quality of food and drinks are well in front of ALL other ‘so called’ restaurants.
I would recommend to others to try out this place.
Top marks for their local IPA (Baya) beer.
Staff nice and attentive.

We stayed in a family room for two nights, with our two children. Great accommodation, comfy beds, lots of space and a balcony/garden area. Super clean.
The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is excellent and relaxed, with plenty of choice for everyone.
The dinners were delicious - we loved all the food, and the local cider. The Îles flottantes were the best we've ever had.
And all located a short stroll from a sandy beach.
We look forward to returning!

We stopped at the restaurant for lunch and it was wonderful. It was recommended in my guide book and it was a good call. It's very airy and casual. I had a delicious vegetarian salad (photo) that could be made vegan if ordered without mozzarella.

La Sapiniere Restaurant is wonderful!

The service is excellent, warm, and welcoming! (Even when your French is poor like mine!) Expect to see families, couples, and travelers from all over. The staff is especially thoughtful with children.

The food is superb! Everything is freshly prepared and delicious! I had the marine mussels, liver pate, and crème carmel one evening and the steak tartare and marinated salmon another day. The mussels were the best I’ve ever had!! The simple, elegant preparation was just…wow.

Thank you for hosting me. This was a special trip as an American veteran and you made me feel so welcome!

Fantastic lunch. Waited for a table in their little lawn on comfortable chairs listening to the birds and the surf. So peaceful.

Great food, environment, and garden. We turned up at opening time without booking and were told there was only one free table available despite being fairly empty, but 20 mins later it was packed. A 1 star review was given below for the same reason, but it’s clearly a popular restaurant for good reason. Worth booking in advance! Delicious.

We spent two nights on this hotel while on a history tour of Omaha Beach. We had 3 rooms and we came with our children. The restaurant is excellent, the rooms comfortable and clean, the staff friendly, attentive and welcoming. Very nice team of people with excelente service skills that make your stay a wonderful experience. We definitely recommend this place. Make reservations for dinner as the restaurant fills up quickly.

Friendly personnel both at the reception desk and in the restaurant. Family room we stayed is comfortably sized. Book a table in advance in the hotel's excellent restaurant as it might be fully booked upon arrival. Original recipes, quality food with attention to detail, look no further.

We enjoyed dinner here one evening and it was the best meal of our entire trip!! Kind service, amazing food and just an overall great vibe. We will be back and cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Happy accident - we are staying nearby and lucked upon the restaurant, the three of us without reservations, we’re greeted by smiles and a table was made ready for us.
The food was delightful and cooked to perfection!
One of us had steak/fries, one had fish and fries and the other had fish casserole, so yummy!

I would highly recommend the restaurant if in the Omaha Beach area - we enjoyed it so much we are going back tonight!

Great Hotel to stay on Normandy. The rooms are nice and well kept.
The restaurant is also amazing. Had breakfast and dinner here every day during my 10 day stay.
The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend!!

We had a meal here, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. We are English and do not speak much French, but the lovely waitress spoke English, and she was very helpful!

I have eaten here several times now and am never disappointed! Good local beer and very good food! The fish is always fresh and the ribs with bbq was absolutely delicious! They always offer a nice salad instead of fried potatoes if you would ask! This is REALLY the best restaurant in the town! They have a very nice staff of servers as well, most speak English! Thank you to them!!

This place lives up to its reviews. We were happy with our lunch here. The fish and chips had a very tasty tartar sauce but I didn't care much for the breading. The fries were pretty good here too. I loved the Quiche, it was more moist than others we had in France.

Great place. Not only people were super welcoming (despite me shoping up with my dogs) BUT their coquilles Saint Jacques were amazing. Worth the trip. And their café gourmand was generous and delicious too.

The food was excellent. My husband loved the Scottish salmon and the rest of us thought the mussels were delicious.
The staff were friendly and efficient.

We ate lunch here after visiting Omaha Beach museum, cemetery, and beach. The waitstaff spoke great English and were warm and welcoming. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating - outside would be so lovely on a warm day. Salad was fresh and delicious; croque monsieur was also great! Lots of bread and butter. We were very happy we stopped here!

Best meal we had in Normandy all holiday. Restaurant itself is beautiful, the menu is extensive but well thought out and service is friendly & professional. Modern, well-cooked meal. We were delighted. All the other restaurants in Normandy just cater for tourists with the same prices as here but with sub-standard food. Go here for lunch or dinner but book in advance so you won’t be disappointed!
