What a lovely place to eat! We had a good day at the beach and the museum and was looking for a place to eat. The restaurant was super busy when arrived, still made us space in the front area which was lovely. D-Day beer is recommended. We all had starters, fish terrine was a delicious choice, all our main courses were tasty and well presented. The salmon with the sauce was amazing, and the pollock is superb too! Had some French dessert in the end, was a lovely meal, price range is the usual seaside rate, portions are not super big but extremely tasty and no one left with empty stomach. Definitely would stop here again!

I liked this restaurant. The food was standard but what really made it was the staff and the atmosphere. The staff were some of the friendliest people we've met so far. The fresh sea breeze was magnificent. Eat lunch here! It's nice.

Right by Omaha Beach they are pretty much assured regular customers but this doesn't mean that they are not super friendly. All of the staff we met were full of smiles and really went out of their way to be kind to the kids.

A fantastic little place, that always seems to be busy, for obvious reasons..Don't be concerned about people waiting to be seated, as these people know how to run a show, and will have you seated before you know it, and none of this waiting an hour for your meal nonsense..I found there meals great, and very fairly priced..They will always have my business..

Great service, spoke English very well and was very tolerant as I stumbled through my high school French from 18 years ago. The dessert sampler plate was just perfect for me since I could not make up my mind of what I wanted, so I got a little bit of everything. The kids loved it and so did my mother and aunt

It was the only opened restaurant when we visited Omaha Beach in early March. It welcomed us even past 2pm when most of other restaurants were already closing.

Service was nice, the waitress was very attentive.

Fantastic restaurant!
Does a bit of everything (wide menu for France, bar, souvenir shop, take away vans, creperie), but somehow still does it well! Think there were around 5 staff members when we visited. Quite busy for a Tuesday lunchtime, I'd think, and the staff never seemed to stop! Serving, clearing, seating, taking orders! They were rushed off their feet, but never made us feel rushed, or like we were an inconvenience!
Most of the staff spoke brilliant English! One or two never, which is absolutely not a problem to me at all(!!). They were still patient and friendly.
My daughter had chicken supreme with fries, and a chocolate dessert. I had Salade Normande with strawberries and cream dessert. Chicken was, apparently, cooked to perfection. Salad was brilliant, and my first experiences of camembert and of prosciutto!! Quite expensive-seeming, but the portions are HUGE!!! If we'd seen the mains first, we probably wouldn't have ordered dessert as we struggled to eat it all!!!
All in all, a beautiful place with incredibly patient and friendly staff, with a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!!

Not the cheapest restaurant, but the beef sauvignon was delicious. They also have their own specialty beer (d-day IPA for example) which you can also buy in closed bottles (75cl) for the family/friends
at home perhaps.

Came here after going to the Omaha Memorial with a empty stomach and food on my mind. Very nice staff and amazing food. The “Omaha Burger 🍔” was delicious and the fries that came with it weren’t so bad either. Great restaurant for a meal to relax.

We ate at the restaurant l'omaha on d-day. I am sure they were busy all day. Food and service were great. Best creme brulee so far on my trip. Also they had a clean restroom.

Wow. A friendly restaurant that bore with my limited French. Gave us 2 sea view seats. Brilliant customer service. The manager said they were understaffed but that aside the food was not under whelming.

Clean tidy and a bubbly atmosphere and queues to sit. We got there at 650pm no queue...

Starting with a beer and wife a coke sans sucre. 💯 needed as the sun beat down. I went for the squid rings and tarte sauce. (Boy that could have been a main) and wife Cambert on toast with a salad. I feel I won that round.

The mains of Mousle and Frittes arrived in two huge pots. Sure if you just put muscles on a plate it wouldn't look much. But the experience is always the challenge.

At this point our eyes were as big as our belly. Delicious and fantastic restaurant.

This would be the restaurant we would come back to any day.

It was so good! I enjoyed the atmosphere here as well as the food. Lots of D Day inspired decor, and each table has flowers on it!

Very friendly staff, got all 9 of us seated as soon as possible. Combined two tables for us, all while declining any help. Drinks were brought out quickly and were pretty well sized. Be aware that they take the orders of all ladies first, which can be a bit of a problem if you have a girlfriend or wife who has a hard time choosing which food she wants. Was resolved quite well by staff. Food was brought out without too much of a wait, whilst still being of good quality. Hamburger was very, very good. Would 101% recommend. Fish and chips weren’t really as good, but still tasted well enough. Most waitstaff speaks English very well, which is amazing considering it’s in a touristy place as well. Definitely would recommend.

Just go there. Lovely, kind and helpful people. Great food. Great service. Very down-to-earth.
I was feeling particularly American that day and had a Burger and Fries. I have to say, it was. -by far -the best burger I’ve had in years.
My friend had a salad and she still talks about it weeks later.
After walking the cemetery and beaches, eating here was like being wrapped in a warm blanket fed comfort food. It is a sweet memory.
