Restaurant La Vénus

This long-established restaurant on the outskirts of Prayssac has an excellent menu du jour, with choices of entree, plat and dessert plus wine and coffee all for under €14 - great value! The service is very good , friendly and attentive, and we were very impressed by this. English is spoken here. There is a nice outdoor area to eat when it is fine. The restaurant has recently changed hands and this was the first time we have eaten here since then so were relieved to find it not just maintain the standards but improve upon it. Highly recommended!

This was really a super nice place ! The menu was very attractive and i confirm.. the food excellent😋 the kids even had a playground inside the terrace. The service was also super 😊 merci !

Yesterday had a delicious Sunday lunch. Every course was so tasty and excellent presentation. We are very lucky to have this restaurant as our local.

This restaurant has recently (April 2018) changed ownership. We have visted several times last year under old ownership and once this year at the moment, under new ownership. We can say both last year and this year the restaurant is superb. Absolutely amazing food, good choice on the menu and prices are very fair. Evening menus for 19 euros entee, plat, dessert are great - what menu at 19 euros can include delicious duck?! Even their lunchtime menus for 13.90 including wine and coffee is amazing. We went last week and there are not hugely noticeable changes with the new owners but we did notice the attention to detail; that most things, even on the lunch menu, are homemade, with great fresh ingredients. Even simple desserts like mousse which are easy to cheat on, are homemade. Plus they include a 1/4 of wine which is amazing, most places only include a glass for this price. A glass of champagne for 7 euros is also pretty good (very tasty champagne too!) There are some staff changes but also some old staff still and as ever are very attentive, friendly and welcoming. We will be back many times this summer i'm sure, and it's one on the list of places in the area we will miss when our summer ends! Great place to bring friends and family.

Really nice restaurant with friendly staff. The waitress was particularly helpful and her English was great. We couldn't fault the food and the price was reasonable.

We usually eat outside on the terrace but today we ate inside it being February. We had a superb meal and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Que dire : au service nous avons été couvés par notre serveuse et l'équipe de service.
Au plat : nous avons apprécié la fraîcheur,la justesse des assiettes,la générosité de la cuisine et son goût, un délice.
Au dessert : achèvement,pas de mot... Une gourmandise.
Fait rare pour être noté ( vu nos expériences dans le Lot) : les tickets restaurant sont acceptés 😍

A quoi mesure t'ont un bon restaurant ? A la motivation de son équipe, autant en service que en cuisine, à ce travail qu'ils rendent dans les plats que nous dégustons et surtout : au sans faute du début à la fin de notre passage chez eux, chapeau bas, vous m'avez bluffé 👏

Mention spéciale au pain qui est un petit délice.

Continuez comme cela pour le bonheur de passer un bon moment dans votre établissement.

Nous sommes venus ce soir, nous avons mangé en terrasse. Cadre agréable, jeux pour enfants. Equipe très jeune, dynamique et sympathique. Repas très copieux et bon. Je recommande.

Aanrader!! Zoek niet langer en laat u verwennen in dit restaurant. Van de kaart was de risotto heerlijk en de dag schotel bœuf bœuf bourguignon met zelf gebakken frietjes. Dessert de café gourmand.

Juillet 22. Le menu du midi à 14,80€ et 1,5€ le pichet de rosé nous a convaincu. C'est très bon, simple et agréable. De plus le cadre en terrasse est convivial et si besoin la salle intérieure est climatisée.
Nous avons rencontré une équipe jeune, souriante et agréable.
Un clin d'œil à la jeune fille qui a joliment écrit les menus. (:
