Château de Puymartin

A well preserved castle with a mysterious story of a white lady. The castle and the grounds are well maintained, the exhibitions and displays are great and well organised. The staff is very friendly and there are small tours, although in English only. Small dogs are also allowed if you can carry them in your hands. Something most castles do not do and should be allowed. So well done!

The staff were very helpful

I say this because our visit would of been so much nicer if they did a audio guide in my case in English, at other locations I have found that the audio guide sort of brings the visit to life, takes it to another level

The owner of the chateau was extremely welcoming and kind. The place is well manicured, beautiful and serene!

We had a group tour with a very enthusiastic English speaking guide called Maeve. She really brought the chateau to life with her excellent information and sense of humour. She was so passionate about the chateau and its history and this made the visit memorable and very enjoyable. A lovely chateau in beautiful surroundings.

A lovely and interesting visit to this nice castle with a great guide (Merci Emilien!) and a tasty lunch to finish it all off at L'arbre et Chandron behind the castle. Definitely worth a visit and staying for a snack!

A bit expensive for a quite small visit. Castle is nice though and furnitures are great. 4.5 stars ;)

Magnifique château, en visite libre ou avec guide. Toutes les pièces du château sont intéressantes, très bien aménagées. Ma préférence pour la chambre de la dame blanche. L'extérieur du château est tout aussi superbe. Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce lieu.

Personnel adorable. Un seul petit point noir, beaucoup de monde a la visite donc moins de possibilités d'interaction. Mais cela n'enlève rien au talent des acteurs et a l'aspect féerique, magique. Une merveilleuse soirée

Château médiéval restauré et habité.
La visite est libre ou guidée (1h30).
Chaque pièce est commentée et meublée, avec différents thèmes : salon, chambre, légende de la dame blanche, etc.
Trois niveaux du châteaux sont ouverts au public, mais aucun accès au sommet du donjon n'est proposé. On ne profite pas du panorama.

L'entrée coûte 10 € par adulte, 7 par adolescent.
