Hôtel Victor Hugo

A nice comfortable hotel in the center of Pontorson. The amenities were all nice and good. Breakfast is rather basic but quite delicious. It is a private house retrofitted into a nice little hotel. Highly recommend!

Room was spacious with a view of the garden. The tiny tube elevator was an interesting touch and to go up in. Close and walkable to many food option and around the corner from where you can take the bus/shuttle to Mont St. Michel. No A/C but when in roam, do what the locals do and go all natural.

Great location to visit Le Mont Saint Michel. They staff is exceptional, very friendly and knowledgeable. The property itself is cozy, historic feeling, with modern luxuries in the room. Perfect for families, couples, or groups.

If this hotel is available during the time you want to visit Mont St Michel, don't even think about it. JUST BOOK. Private parking, renovated and spacious rooms, everything is sparkling clean. Relaxing back garden with friendly owners and staff. I'm so glad we came here!

If you're visiting Mont Saint-Michel, seriously consider staying at this hotel. It's a fifteen to twenty Euro cab ride to MSM and a thoroughly lovely experience.

Hotel Victor Hugo is a classically French hotel in a classically French country town. It's everything that one would expect from such a place in terms of comfort and appearance. The owners are just the most warm, helpful and wonderful people you could ever hope to meet.

Wonderful stay and we appreciated the hospitality. Rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast was great, and the garden behind the building was beautiful. Absolutely worth the trip from the city.

If you're headed to Le Mont St. Michel, this is a great great GREAT place to stay. You're right in the heart of the village of Pontorson, just a five minute drive from the parking area at MSM. Pasquale, the owner, will treat you like an old friend, and you'll feel like one by the time you leave. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the next morning, we enjoyed the best hotel breakfast we've ever had (it costs extra, but it's WELL worth it). Also, check out the garden in the back. I cannot recommend this hotel strongly enough.

Everthin' was perfect!

Accueil exceptionnel, décoration, chambres et jardin somptueux. Petit déjeuner copieux. Nous étions quatre personnes et dès que nous avons passé l entrée de l hôtel nous sommes tombés sous le charme. Nous reviendrons et nous vous recommandons cet hôtel.

Soggiorno fine agosto 2023: camera pulita, spaziosa, ottimamente arredata e insonorizzata. Perfetto anche il climatizzatore e un mini ascensore a tubo per portare su le valigie. Spettacolare anche il resto dell' hotel e del giardino. Parcheggio gratuito per i clienti sul retro. Posizione perfetta a 10-15min di auto da Mont S.Michel e comodo anche al bus n.2 se non si vuole usare la macchina.
Unico suggerimento: sostituire le vasca da bagno con la doccia causa allagamento dello stesso senza un vetro di protezione.

Plutôt que de choisir une chaîne d'hôtel , cet établissement offre un dépaysement , calme , reposant , avec un petit déjeuner digne du nom et un petit jardin bucolique
L'accueil est chaleureux et sympathique. Les chambres sont très propres, la literie très confortable et toute la décoration est soignée.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette hôtel, qui mélange des éléments d'epoque mais tres bien entretenus (escalier, accueil, salle de petit dejeuner) avec des chambres au confort tres moderne (literie, sdb, toilettes separees) l'accueil est chaleureux et familial, on se sent bien accueilli. Il y a un parking privatif a l'arriere, et un tres joli jardin, le cadre est tres reposant.Nous avons testé le spa privatif, ce fut un pur moment de détente que je recommande (c'est une option payante). Tout est soigne, joliment decore, l'hotel est bien tenu et tres propre. Enfin, le petit déjeuner, était parfait, avec des produits de première qualité.. nous reviendrons sans hésiter. !!

Extraordinario. Una atención tan cálida en un día tan frío. Si se animan a caminar hacen dos horas a la abadía del monte Saint Michel, caminando por la ruta de los ciclistas, y créanlo, dada la multitud de adentro, es la mejor manera de disfrutarlo.
De regreso un baño de tina y el paraíso es suyo.
