O’ Plaisir des Sens

A great gourmet Restautant, combining classic with innovative touches - not to be missed! The staff is very helpful and welcoming, and of course professional. We had two menus - the Gourmet Menu and the Pleasure Menu. The highlights were the 2 foie gras dishes: the Grated duck foie gras was exceptional and unique, and the Pan-fried Périgord duck foie gras was also very very good. The other courses were just as good, and we didn't leave a single crumb or a drop on our plates. The pricing is very reasonable for this level of cooking. A Michelin star is certainly due. A good word goes to Lydie, the hostess and sommelier, who was very friendly and helpful, even though it was a busy evening. I wish more hostesses in French restaurants will be just as inviting as Lydie.

We live in the Dordogne and just discovered this outstanding restaurant ! The positive energy you feel upon entering is only surpassed by the warm reception and delicious food prepared with local ingredients. The artist Mika has added to the sense of fun. We will be back and recommend to friends !

One of the besteals on our 3 week trip in France. I had the best escargot of my life. The servics was wonderful. They fit us in a the last minute. Very kind owner and her server was delightful. Highy recommend

Fabulous French fare in an idyllic setting. Fantastic service to top it off.

Fantastic setting, attentive but effortless service, and most of all fantastic food with a good wine list. The food was very much using local ingredients, cooking in a traditional way but with a few novel surprises. Exactly what was needed for a holiday treat for my wife and I. Thanks to Chef Bruno and the whole family of staff.

The chef creates beautiful and delicious meals.
Unusual but very tasty combinations presented beautifully.
His wife runs a tight ship to ensure the guests have a wonderful stay.
We immediately booked again for the next day and enjoyed the "bon menu" even more than the "menu plaisir".

One of my local favourites for more formal dining. If you want fancy, this place will give you fancy. Do check out their menus before going as fussy eaters might struggle with the skilfully prepared gastronomy offered. This is a great twist on the duck duck and more duck you find everywhere in the region. I’ve never had a bad plate of food there.

Despite the tourist trap location and our off-season visit, the food was nothing but delightful, service was attentive without being oppressive, all together a lovely lunch and an experience we will definitely be looking forward to repeat next year. :)
Special recommendation are the duck Tournedos Rossini, still thinking about them.

A excellent bistro and bar with an a la Carte restaurant at rear offering great food with a real chef. Summer means dining in the outside garden under large umbrellas, a fantastic ambience. Reasonable price menu for a more upmarket eatery. Bistro 'Plat du jour' circa 18€, but wine does come more expensive , starting at 23€. Great beers on tap do make the experience more affordable.Staff give you a high level of attention, but not intrusive. English is spoken.
