Oh La La !!

We spent an entire day visiting Omaha beach and were pretty hungry. This is in the heart of Bayeux and there are lots of parking spot at the church. You use your credit card or coins. After 1900, they don’t charge parking. Plus the machine is in English as well. Once you park at the church parking lot, turn left and walk down for about 6 min. It is a pretty busy place with locals and tourists. We ordered BBQ pork rib with sauce and smoked pork loin 300g with mashed potato, fried vegetables, and tab water. They sell rib per one rib. So you need to decide how many ribs you are going to have. I asked tap water so it was free. A glass of Bordeaux wine was a nice pair. Meat was so tender and juicy. Highly recommend.

My wife and I went here for dinner and it was excellent! While the service was a little slow for American standards, it was still five stars for France. The food was terrific. We ordered the barbecue pork ribs, the pork loin, and the flank steak. It came with mashed potatoes for me and a salad for her. And while the barbecue was different than typical American barbecues, it was still delicious. All the meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy and nice, and the waitress took good care of us. Unfortunately, just like most places in France, there was no Diet Coke, but there was Coke Zero! Then we had these delicious giant cream puff things for dessert. We were actually full but we saw other customers eating them and had to have them. And they were very good.

Owned by a young couple, the food was wonderful. Pork was tender and cooked to perfection. More French than American style, thankfully! Small interior dining area, so plan accordingly.

I only just arrived in Bayeux with my family, but I would happily come here every night. Both of my parents have rated this as the best burger that they have ever had. The meat folds with the softness of the bun, salty cheese compliments the cheese without a doubt leaving a craving for more. The staff was also incredible, run by two men who did not stop working and taking care of business the entire time. Try the food, the wine, and bring good company but the staff is great enough. I highly highly recommend and hope to be back.

We enjoyed a pre-dinner drink here and after reading the food reviews we decided to stay to eat - good decision. The burger was prepared as requested, and tasted absolutely wonderful. The fries were perfect, crispy on the outside. The atmosphere was lively and fun, seemed like a popular local place as well as inviting for travelers.

I am an American, and it connoisseur of food and burgers, of course. This is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. My brother and I had the Camembert burger.. very friendly service good beers, great food. I have since made my own Camembert burgers back in America, but Ooh La La is correct. It is great! We had to wait for the kitchen to open and we watched all the fresh supplies being delivered the buns, the vegetables, etc. Top quality!

My fiancé and i absolutely LOVED this place. The burger and fries were delicious, the beer was wonderful and the people there were amazing!!! A very fun and lively atmosphere- they welcomed us with open arms. We ended up staying for a few hours chatting with the kitchen/bar staff and drinking with the locals. The staff saw us on the street the next day and said hello! Such a wonderful experience!!!!

Stopped here for dinner while visiting Bayeux and had a fun time! The vibe here is awesome and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious too. The fried potatoes were incredible! Best potatoes ever! It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside when it’s busy but other than that it’s great!

Visiting the area for a few days and came across this restaurant for dinner. Somewhat busy when we arrived, but was able to get seating for two inside. Ordered water to share, and a cider and a burger for each. We ordered the Le Belly and Le Cheese. Half way through my glass of cider, I was clumsy and knocked over and broke my glass. They were quick to clean up, and I tried to assist, but they said not to worry. They even replaced my cider with a full glass. The cider was really good, which is locally produced. The burgers were a good filling size, very tasty and the cook was spot on. They come with a side of potato chips, which are good too. I would definitely come back if I returned to the area.

By all means these burgerd shouldn't be amazing but they are! They're so simple yet so good. The meat. THE MEAT. Locally sourced from a milk farmer so the beef is nice and fatty. The prime rib was perfect! The chicken sandwich was lit also. Oh and the chips, also great. Oh la la!

Amazing burgers and beer. Worth a stop. We had Le Normand and it was incredible which, coming from an American with her fare share of burgers is saying a lot ha! The bun taste like a brioche nun which is my favorite and the potatoes are like American home fries 😍 I was sitting in view of the kitchen and I saw them grinding the burger meat fresh as well!

Great and very delicious food. Very friendly and sympatic staff. Speaking good English too. Big portions for a totally reasonable price.
12/10 would definitely recommend and revisit!!

This place is where it is at for burgers. And if you are looking for a late night place open in Bayeux France they are open til 1am. Beer is cold and burger are amazing. Staff is exceptional friendly to all!!!!

Dudes!!! You rock! American tourist here and I don’t think I’ve had a better steak in years. That was delicious! Wife loved the drinks too. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Next time we visit I’ll have to try the burgers. However the steak is a quick fav. Merci!

Stopped in here for drinks and rest after a full day of museums and sight seeing. EXCELLENT STAFF. Very friendly and all spoke English. BEST BURGER OF ALL TIME-ANYWHERE. This was my best meal in France. They have several different burgers, a chicken sandwich and fries. Don’t miss this place!

In Ohlala restaurant, I had most delicious tartare ever. Thus, decided to go tothe same restaurant during my staying in Bayeux to test other dishes. it's absolutely fabulous.
The generous dishes are prepared carefully with local products.
