Relais Amadourien - Hôtel Rocamadour

Hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Rocamadour and the surrounding area. We chose the double comfort room which had plenty of space for suitcases etc. Parking was provided and easily accessed. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices to get you started for the day. Enjoyed our stay of 3 nights and would highly recommend.

Stayed one night. Location turned out to be excellent as a flat 15 minute stroll along the top in daylight to L'Hospitalet gives you all the views of Rocamador & the valley, while the walk back after dinner shows you the village all lit up. The hotel exceeded expectations, management was very very personable & efficent & the room clean, the bed comfortable. Not much of a garden view from the velux window though.

Felt really welcomed at this cosy hotel. Great views, superb breakfast, a clean and comfortable room. Couldn't ask for more. Loved the suggestions given to us to for things to do around the area and beyond ❤

Was here for one night. But it was really relaxing bed and washroom facilities. I would recommend it for short term stays! 👍

Our first trip to Rocamadour and booked this hotel by chance as it looked to be good value. Brilliantly situated behind the Chateau, free parking, welcoming staff and comfy and clean room it certainly delivered. We were even lent an umbrella due to the threatening thunderstorm!

Had great stay here for one night. The room was clean and roomy. Excellent quality for the price. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I couldn’t find a way to get to the train station and the manager called for a favor for someone to give a ride. Thank you!

Excellent place to stay. Extremely nice and helpful staff! The location is great and makes it easy to visit the castle and historic part of the city. Breakfast was really good and you can use the cafeteria to est dinner.

Family run hotel located a stone throw from the lift to the sanctuary and the medieval village. The rooms are very convenient, there is a good parking lot, a few restaurants nearby and the possibility of a nice walk overlooking a wonderful view.

Great location with lots of parking lot. The room was not big but clean. The view outside of our room was nice. The staff at the reception was very friendly and speak English. Breakfast was great too.

We had a full week here since it was easy to reach (by car) to various sites on the Dordogne valley. The hotel is very well run, clean an quiet. The room was serviced every day which was more than we expected. Breakfast every morning was buffet style nicely done in the wonderful breakfast room with views towards country side landscape.
The hotel owners and the personal are very welcoming, friendly and helpful with suggestions for local attractions.
The restaurant across the road it was the best we had but other good alternatives are also available at walking distance.
Overall we felt like at 4*
We are already talking about comming back so deffinetly recommended.

We enjoyed Roccamour very very much. The castle on the hill, the chapel mid way down. All spectacular views. The very lowest level is just a tourist shopping area without much to see. We spent all our time at the mid level. Be careful on the steps, they can be slippery.

And what an excellent choice that was !
Comfortable room and good bedding , modern touch .The view over the valley is a special treat for when you wake up .
The area is peaceful and right next the ancient city . Parking on site .Least but not last all that available for a very reasonable price .

Very convenient location right beside rocamadour castle and few meters away from roches des aigles spectacle. Great for family as they have a room with 1 queen bed and a bunk bed for kids.
