Café Marcel Sarlat

A great find. Friendly service and an excellent burger… the cheese sauce was delicious! Great value too. We loved it so much we went back a second time a couple of weeks later and had the pastrami sandwich, which was also delicious. Once again the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

We stumbled on this place by chance as all the other restaurants were full. I’m so glad we did!

Stumbled upon a hidden gem. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The best coffee throughout our holiday and the food is outstanding, all fresh and homemade. This is also the only place we have found which does a decent vegetarian option, delicious.
It is immaculate and fresh with great decor.
I don't typically so reviews but this place definitely deserves it. Very very highly recommended.

Lovely cafe in the heart of Sarlat! My husband and I enjoyed our many mornings here with delicious food and coffee. Nothing in Sarlat compares- this is the best! The staff were so nice and patient while I spoke french and never interrupted me while I was trying to speak. It was nice they were not only supplying great coffee but also being supportive while I was working on my french :) 10/10 staff 10/10 food 10/10 coffee and 10/10 interior design. Very cozy.

Charming new cafe that opened this spring (2022). Sandwiches and coffee were superb - and served quickly. Ambiance inside is light and airy and the small cafe crew was helpful and friendly. A happy find away from the chaos of the market.

The best pastrami sandwich in the region. When you had enough of the local cuisine it’s a must try 🤍 very high quality ingredients and excellent service.
