Le Roosevelt

This is a must visit place because of its history and fabulous interior. If you are a Band of Brothers fan, they had lots of photos with the actors visiting the restaurant. I love that WW2 veterans and/or their family can write on the tables/walls to honor their memories.

The service was super quick, plenty of interior & exterior tables. The staff that helped us all spoke English and were very friendly.

We both had the Jambon Grille ( a large piece of ham with norman gravy/sauce), fries, and salad. It was fine. The menu had a nice selection of food and drinks.

The restaurant also had a nice gift shop.

It has a very comforting food. It's location is very convenient since it is just near the Utah Beach Museum.

What a place, brilliant as you can't imagine what went on here all those years ago. It just brings everything home to you. The museum is great, lot of objects to look at and a full size plane. This plane didn't actually see any combat and has been fully restored to its original condition. They did this by scouring the globe as they have built this plane back up using only original parts. I found out while I was admiring this plane that the black out white stripes on the fuselage was place there last minute on all combat planes to try and stop friendly fire, who would have believed that! The museum cost around 9 euros per adult and you can spend as much or as little time in there as you like. There are places to eat and have an ice cream, so if you are in France you must go here!

Food was ok, very fast, helpful and kind service. Recommended.

I had an excellent American coffee for 5 Euro. Sure it was expensive, but it's the only option and a tourist center.

The service as nice. The place is historic. Original radio equipment and has a bunker in the back that was used to be the center hub of communication an during the normandy invasion.

Good gift shop too.

For Americans who need an updated review :) the kitchen closes at 2 ! There are no other food options around ! Plan accordingly! Staff were beyond accommodating! After coming from Germany where closing at 2 means 1 , they let us still order food at 1:55 pm ! It was a miracle! There was a gift shop connected and a bar in the front part that does not close when the kitchen does . Very cool place filled with interesting military patches and signatures . Not a complaint at all ! But plan accordingly because kitchen will close at 2pm ! And for someone coming from Germany you may wonder , they take Karte !!! Normandy is wonderful 😌

Great little restaurant! It's the only place to eat at Utah Beach, which makes it very convenient, and (fortunately for everyone who visits) it's very good food. They have a large and varied menu for visitors of all ages, and it's a nice atmosphere and comfortable environment. I was there on a colder day, but there was a patio for warmer weather where people could eat outdoors as well. Everyone in my group got something different to eat, and all of us enjoyed it. I got the French version of a grilled cheese, but others had more traditionally French meals. Le Roosevelt is also literally across the road from Utah Beach, so it's very close to where everything happened and to all the monuments in the area.

Came which a small tour group of 9. We had a table reserved outside, which was nice with the weather that day. I ordered a cider and mussels. Cider is a local brew, which was good. Thr mussels come in a big pot. The sauce added good flavor. The mussels were cooked really well; not too much where it becomes chewy. I would come back if I come back to the area.

We had a couple of delicious burgers, few beers, excellent weather and location, friendly staff, quick service, and worth the trip.

Easy place to grab lunch when visiting Utah beach. The stand outside was easy and gas to order from, and you pay inside at the bar.

Taste was ok but the decoration and experience was stunning. Recommend for those who are really into WWll.

My wife and I ate here in early May 2018. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to us. Food was excellent and service was good.

Brilliant immersive place to visit
You can just sit and look through all the signatures of veterans on the bar and walls.
Busy vibrant little place but a must for anyone visiting.
Lovely place

My wife and I, and our twin toddlers just had lunch here. Unfortunately one child had a complete meltdown and I had to leave to calm her down. The staff were incredibly attentive and packaged up my food along with fresh fries so I could get to eat it later.

Nice friendly staff, very covid safe environment. Good menu and perfect for lunch. Great use of former WW2 bunker. Convient location right next to the beach. Very enjoyable and would recommend.
