La Pause

We chose to camp in Cajarc for its location on the Lot river and convenience to Figeac and Villefranche de rourgue. The real bonus was La Pause, which has a good selection for 3 course lunch menu + 1/4l wine+ coffee for 15euros. So good that we immediately booked for another meal. Thoroughly recommended, especially if you can walk home after the meal.

Outstanding value formula lunch with an excellent choice of starters and mains, including “araignee de porc” which I had not eaten before and really enjoyed. Service was stretched due to the restaurant being full but good humoured and it al worked out! Best to book ahead.

Wonderful local restaurant with great food. I always enjoy seeing the local families eating at a restaurant as I know that this is the place that the community enjoys.

You begin wiith a warm greeting from the charming owner, and end marveling at the delicious meal. Cozy and everyone is so friendly. This is the place the locals love best.

Another place to pause at when you are in Cajarc whether for lunch or dinner at very delicious prices or a coffee in the morning and listening to the natives chit chat about their daily lives.

Great food, good service and value for money too! What more could you ask for? Recommended.
