A very pleasant place to eat under the trees on a warm evening, as it was for us. The menu board was a little confusing but explained clearly in English by the French waitress/owner. Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere.

In England, you can get sophisticated, expensive dishes designed by brilliant chefs. Or you can get perfectly respectable traditional food, like fish and chips or Yorkshire pudding. What you can’t get is beautifully done traditional cooking that embodies centuries of culinary experience. That is what you get here. Skip the desserts, which are meh. Don’t skip the wine, which is excellent.

Exceptional 🌟 We came here by chance as we were driving from Perigeuex to Angouleme and wanted some lunch. This was such a surprise.. we pulled off the road and entered a lovely, quiet village. The service was friendly and fast.. and the food was truly delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough.. superb 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very nice restaurant with good food and lovely staff. Wife's birthday and they put a candle on our desert, nice touch. Would highly recommend.

Nice draft beer, followed by good food, from a very comprehensive menu, considering this is a small country restaurant. Snack options or full menu. Very quiet location, no traffic apart from people parking. Will visit again, and take photos next time.

Fabulous place for coffee or lunch. Staff wonderfully friendly. Would recommend the 13 Euro 3 course lunch which includes wine. Absolutely love this place.

Excellent meal. My husband and daughter both had the sirloin and were both Impressed. I had the carbonarra and there was so much of it. Reasonably priced too.

Food was lovely, medium sirloin with a red wine sauce was lovely. As were the carbonara and the lamp chops. Recommened
