Café du Port Cherbourg

We called in whilst passing and was offered a table immediately. The service is excellent and the food we chose (Salmon fillet and the Seafood Paella) was first class and reasonably priced. If we were staying longer in Cherbourg we would be happy to visit again.

Nice breakfast, good bread, and gentle People. Do not hesitate to send your resume there, as they hire all year long, especially waiters and waitresses. A perfect place for a summer job, if you are a student wiling to perfect your French.

Today - sunday - many people, have been eating in and out, most french! Hors d'Oeuvre and mussels "Normande" excellent, friendly service - coffee (ristretto) not really italian style but drinkable 🤭 - affordable prices! I'll come again 🙋‍♂

Best raw oysters I have had in decades. They are farm raised, transplanted from the south of France, and raised in a tidal estuary close to the sea. They taste magnificent!

We just finished our holiday in France with a visit here.

Fantastic last meal in France. Moules, steaks and burgers and home made mayo. Lovely glass of rose all served with friendly staff. Clean plates all round. Definitely recommend.

This is not haute cuisine, but it is good value for good simple food. I've been a few times now. It's ideal for a bite to eat before catching the ferry.
