Hôtel De La Marine

The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting the D-Day museums and memorials. We stayed 5 nights and it was wonderful. The hotel restaurant is excellent and there are more good bars and restaurants nearby too.

Nice hotel, great staff, decent breakfast, and absolutely perfect location.
Parking? Well you can't have everything - prepare to park in town - if you are lucky you'll find a free parking.

The view from the terrace is great.
We had a nice dinner with sea- view indoors. The menu was very good, as was the service! Highly recommended!

Delightful stay in the most conveniently located hôtel facing the famous ´Operation Overlord’ WWII beach (literally 20 meters from the sand and water). Perfect place to feel the place charged with émotion, remember the heroes and pay tribute to those who lost their life and those who liberated Europe from evil.
Great welcome from the owner, superb dinner (food, great oysters, and service). Warm cocoon decorated with taste. I strongly recommend.

Newly renovated. Best way to describe my stay here is calm.

Fantastic location overlooking the sea/ beach. Rooms cosy! Adjacent to the fabulous new D Day museum. Best of all the restaurant - sea food to die for.

We had a lovely evening meal here.
We hadn't booked and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The food was very nice and well presented.
It's quite upper class with nice clientele.
I recommend a visit here if you fancy a lovely meal.

Beachside hotel that has a delicious restaurant on the ground floor. I did not stay here, but walked from my hotel for the mussels and fries. While eating we watched the tide go out and the beach became visible. It was such a cool experience, I do recommend checking it out!

Reading reviews problems seem to be with the prices of menu and who it's made for as in tourists! the view and location it justifies the little bit extra . The wine menu is expensive only criticism I can give !
Absolutely charming hotel, our room was beautiful we were given the best one last minute because it was our anniversary. Incredible location! Grest staff! Lovely hotel good food!

Enjoyed this and the food. Location was lovely.

An excellent restaurant overlooking the beach at Arromanche. The food was delicious with excellent choice of dishes and wine. The staff were very flexible and looked after us extremely well. I would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting the D Day Museum it is only a couple of minutes across the square. I booked this ahead of our visit for a group of 15 persons a week or so in advance.

We have been here several times and never been let down. The service is amazing the food even better. It is on the expensive side but you definitely get the quality. We save this for special occasions however our last special occasion was "its Friday" think we were looking for an excuse to eat there it's that good.

Didn't stay at the hotel but ate in the restaurant. Best meal in Normandy and possibly of the whole trip. The Sole Mineur was fabulous. Green bean salad was great. The view over the English Channel is nice and we were quite happy with the service. Highly Recommended

Stayed at the hotel and dined at the restaurant. Great experience all around. Views are amazing. Food great. Rooms are small and simple with breathtaking views. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel , this isn’t the place. IF you want a nice location superior view and convenient high end dining , stay here !

Lovely, friendly hotel. If you have a sea fronted room you have an amazing view over the bay and the Mulbury Harbour. Food lovely, though a bit on the pricey side. Drinks are expensive.

Cannot fault the place, they let us keep our 3 moto bikes safe in their secure yard. Food was fab, rooms great. so helpful, even guiding us to a late night bar after the hotel bar closed...

We werent staying at the hotel but we used their restaurant twice to eat.

The service is great, english speaking and understanding staff. The food was overall delicious! To our opinion best deserts in all of Arromanches can be found here (tiramisu and halfbaked chocolate get my full recommendation).

We will be back for more ciders and deserts for sure!

Lovely views , amazing food and service, friendly staff. Quite expensive a la carte but the menus are good value. Perfect for a special occasion.
