Hôtel de Normandie

Really nice hotel, right on the beach and opposite the D-Day museum. Rooms are well appointed with ensuite shower. The restaurant food was very good and the staff very helpful.

Excellent location, so much history and after 17:00 the cente of activites in town!!

The hotel has been around, so don't expect anything new. The rooms were clean. The service was very good and friendly. Would stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. We had a great view from a third story room facing the beach. I know AC is rare in France but to be honest we didn't need it here. The breeze coming in from the water kept us nice and chill. This hotel has a delicious restaurant on the ground floor and we are there for breakfast. Parking is in the back via a metered lot (free after 7:00p) and everything else is in walking distance. A grocery store a few meters away with food, beer and liquor, plenty of souvenir shops and eateries as well. Once the tide goes out you can walk the beach and explore until the breeze sends you back to the room. My only do over would be spending more time in this cute town.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst we visited copious amounts of museums around the normandy area.
The hotel is perfectly located in arromanches les bains right on the sea front. We had a room with a sea view right at the top so the views were brilliant of mulberry harbour, i must admit i was worried because i know there is building work being carried out for the new visitor centre but this didn't affect our view.
There is a car park out back which fits about 5 6 cars if people park in a good way.
Breakfast was continental.
Staff were polite and friendly, very welcoming.
There is no lift in the building.
The hotel gave me a feeling of going back in time.
I definitely would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a night and the room was comfortable and clean, the bed was comfy enough and the ensuite was good. The food was lovely too.

Great hotel, great food in the restaurant. Staff couldn't do enough for us including moving their own cars in their car park so we could park our trailer tent securely. What better service could you ask. Would definitely stay again. Thanks.

A group of us from a Viking tour of Normandy had lunch at this establishment. The food was tasty and hot; the wine was dry; the service was excellent and it was not too crowded!

Had dinner here with my family. A really lovely feel to the restaurant, excellent menu and very friendly staff. The meal was superb, the best so far after two weeks of Hoildaying in the Vendee.

Several times there for a kilo of "mules" mussels with white wine sauce, baguette, frites and rose wine - superb food. Service sometimes a bit "french style". Love it

I haven't stayed in the hotel but I have visited the restaurant a number of times and the food has always been great. In an excellent location if you have an interest in WW2 history.

Historical hotel located near the ocean, museums, shops and restaurants. It has it's own parking and super friendly staff.

The restaurant is lovely. We had sausage and fish. It was delicious! The waiter is very friendly.

Traditional French hotel. Great views. One of the few places in France still serving decent coffee.
