Not sure how this could score anything less than a 5. Cycled into town from Bergerac a little later than we would have liked and assumed places would be shutting up shop for lunch - not here. Biggest welcome, fantastic service and excellent food. Superb spot in middle of town and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Excellent value too.

Great little restaurant in Lalinde. Steak Tartare and ambiance was brilliant but I did ruin my visit a bit by drinking too much of their delicious fine beer. It was 8% which should have been obvious by the name. La Bete. Andy

This place is the absolute highlight of Lalinde and the Dordogne. Great variation of drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic. And an amazing menu for lunch and dinner. And lets not forget the very best pizzas you can find in the whole dordogne with take away possibilities. Next to that the staff and owner are absolutely top notch! Very kind and attentive with real heart and passion for the business and clients. Always working with a smile on their faces and creating the best ambiance each and every time you visit. Make sure to stop by here when in the region. And definitely try the Perigourdine as well ;)

On the square in Lalinde...locals and tourists...food very good since new owner 2 years ago...very friendly staff...lunch and evening meals...best booked in advance

We loved everything about this place. We happened upon it tonight by accident as all the other options we looked for were closed nearby our accommodation at HPB Constant.

Despite our rubbish French the staff were so accommodating and friendly and the atmosphere was brilliant, sitting in the evening sunshine under cover in the main square. Great ambience. When the rain threatened they were straight onto it moving any diners to a dry spot.

Food was fantastic. I had tuna steak with delicious fries in the style of old school home cooked chips and salad. My oatrner had the duck. Also lovely. My daughter enjoyed a pizza which I tasted and it was great. Will be back!

Including dessert and a couple of drinks each it came in at €87 euros. Which for fresh fish and duck we thought was reasonable. Good menu choices such as omelette and burger or salads as well as steaks so something for everyone and cheaper options available.

Great food, excellent service- though I would recommend to book it gets busy.

Eaten here twice, sat in the square as the sun sets is great, but also had the pizzas takeaway also which we very tasty.

Good quality so the bill matched, not particularly expensive but not cheap. But 100% pay for what you get.

Arrived having cycled from Creysse. They had just finished serving but didn't take too much persuasion to feed us. Recommended the pork cooked in duck fat. Didn't sound too appetising as also a cold dish. However it was very enjoyable and tasty.

Excellent food, atmosphere and staff. Great place for lunch or dinner. The guy that takes the orders is very entertaining. Highly recommend.

Wonderful food, great portion, great service! Made our afternoon in Lalinde all the more pleasurable.

Waiter was exceptionally friendly and obtained for us an English menu . Food was of a good standard, plentiful and reasonably priced as was the drinks.
One of the few resteraunts open on the bank holiday Monday at end of season but standards were still good in a relaxed environment. Picturesque setting.

My favourite lunch time venue. Don't get their too late as they do stop taking new bookings if very busy.

Wonderful setting for a great restaurant with amazing food and portion sizes that will leave you full to bursting. Worth a detour!
