This. If you know what good , honest food is. In an authentic setting you will love this. Not fine dining but fine ingredients prepared with love. And enough to be satisfied. Great. It's busy at lunch. Plat du jour. Don't complicate things, just go with it.

Small yet good restaurant in a side street, great "Confit de canard" (roasted duck leg) and "Gambas" (5 huge ones). Good local wines. Cash only, but ATM is very close by :-)

Good honest cooking, generous portions. The ambience might not be too your taste, it is to mine. Music by Steve Winwood, also to my taste. . I'll be back. and I was. And its still as good. Steak Tartare tonight. Nice.

Good food and service. The prawns were fresh and tasty.

If you care about seeing and feeling a true to life experience of normal* French cooking and bon amis, then this little pub is the place to go. Without pretension, excellent cooking comes forth from their immaculate kitchen, fabulous and entertaining host Bruno will make you feel at home and play your favourite Gainsbourg tracks perhaps! But for goodness sake smile. Informal wee place, you can easily sit at the bar and work up your appetite watching all the typical dishes of the region passing by you en route to happy locals.

This is the place to go. Enjoy your meal and then go back to enjoy more the following night. That's exactly what we did.

*normal French cooking = by which I mean cooking you pay top dollar for back home. The quality of the cooking we received here is what I dream of. At home (Scotland) it is now impossible to find an unpretentious pub in which you can order food cooked with the understanding and innate skill of Bruno's chef. Simple stuff, but that's not to be sniffed at as so many 'so called' professional chefs get this kind of 'simple' stuff wrong night after night, whilst charging x3 or x4 the price of the P'tit Loup.

I haven't mentioned the dishes, gizzards, steak, foie gras, the sweet scent of duck fat everywhere. Served to you next to a roaring open fireplace. Your wee dog is welcome and the delicious house red comes by the jug. If I lived in the Dordogne I would soon be a very happy, very fat man and an alcoholic to boot. Le P'tit Loup would be entirely to blame. Too good to miss. Go visit Bruno. Love from Scotland.

D’une extrême gentillesse un repas maison où l’on sent l’unicité du plat. Pour couronner le tout, une relation de confiance s’est naturellement installée. Je recommande grandement 🤩

Très bonne soirée musicale au P'tit Loup, plein à craquer pour l'occasion, avec un service rapide malgré l'affluence. Nous reviendrons !

Petit restaurant sympa dans un décor rustique. La table devant la cheminée est très prisée. Nourriture traditionnelle locale de bonne qualité. Section bar assez animée en soirée. Occasionnellement, des expos d'artistes ou des concerts. Un lieu ouvert toute l'année (contrairement à nombre de concurrents), à soutenir en venant régulièrement.
MàJ mars 2024 : la nouvelle patronne a revitalisé le lieu en lui conservant son âme. Bonne cuisine traditionnelle et certains samedis soirs concert, karaoké ou autre activité : allez voir sur la page Facebook pour tout savoir. Les horaires varient avec les saisons, appelez en cas de doutes pour éviter de trouver porte close.

Je travaille occasionnellement dans le coin et c’est mon adresse pour venir manger, l’accueil et le service et sympa et la nourriture est tres bonne tout est fait sur place!

Ce lieu unique reste pour moi un super établissement ! L'ambiance est hors du commun, je dirai "familiale" et à la fois "Rock" ! Merci à Nono d'avoir pu garder l'ensemble aussi authentique pendant toutes ses années. La cuisine est très bonne, biensûr faite maison !!!
