Pizzeria De L'écluse

We found this on Google favorites and so we tried it. We had just finished 19 locks on the Canal during Midi and we were tired and hungry! Luckily this place is right next to the port. The guys working there were very friendly. The pizza is Napolean style-- super hot wood burning oven for a short time. We got two pizzas- exotique-- which is a Hawaiian and a chicken, caramelized onion one (forgot the name). The Exotique was better in my opinion. They only come in one size and if you buy 4 you get the 5th for free. If you're on a boat and want a quick, easy thing to take back and eat, I recommend this place.

Fantastic pizza takeaway right at the entrance to Le Boat marina in Castelnaudary. We had 4 pizzas each with different toppings, the freshly made base, sauce, toppings and cheese were perfect with generous portions of topping. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired traditional pizza oven, the staff were really friendly and helpful with good English language, far better than my French 😃
This is a very busy pizza takeaway, clearly very popular, and the pizzas were ready at exactly the time they told us.
I think these are some of the best pizzas we have ever eaten, you must try it!

Accueil sympathique.
Choix de pizza très varié, pâte fine et croustillante, bonne garniture généreuse. Nous avons bien apprécié ces pizza.
Les commandes sont prêtes à l'heure, tout est bien.

Très bonnes pizzas, bonne quantité ( les pizzas sont grandes comparés à d’autres) et de qualité, je les recommande fortement. En plus le service est au top !

Der Boden ist dünn, saftig und auf echtem
Holzsteinofen gebacken.
die Pizza NUR mit frischen Zutaten belegt und der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und arbeitet wirklich sauber!

Auch in Corona Zeiten kann man eine leckere Pizza mit vollem Genuss genießen und sich sogar auf eine Bank an dem kleinen süßen Hafen neben an setzten.
