The team at Mud Dock (Charlie, Paul, Simon, Will) have always been super helpful to me. Now on my third bike purchased from them, this time I was looking for a decent upgrade on my last bike and they spent a lot of time with me going through the pros/cons of different setups - then they made sure I had the right size bike for my needs, and helped build up a custom spec to achieve this (at a competitive price!). Very thankful for the help and advice, would certainly recommend to all from newbies to experienced cyclists.

I had a fantastic experience getting my bike and kit at muddock through my cycle to work scheme. There is no replacement for the knowledge and experience of the staff in a decent bike shop like this. They set up my rack, mudguards and child seat for me and offer a free 6 week service to make sure everything is running OK. You wouldn't get any of that if you ordered online. Well worth supporting good independent bike shops like this one.

My partners bike was unridable... breaks were off, not working, and the mudguards I bought for her from the other place (where i received no look at the bike) were incompatible. Knowing this place from the cafe, I came to this place for help. I believe I was speaking with an owner.
We had a look at all the options and costs and even though we couldn't fix the breaks, he went out of his way and was beyond kind to at least adjust the pad breaks so that I could at least brake when cycling slowly.
I appreciate the kind help and the time he took to help me, to the best of his ability. Very professional. Thank you!

Loved it, really great space, ..very steampunk esc feel to it...locally roasted coffee..and the cups do contain a rather playful message.... not the cheapest if you wanted to branch out to more adult beverages...more a sit back unwind and chill space, than a let's pre-drink before Theckler space! Def worth a visit if your in the area.

I took my Dutch Gazelle Roadster in for a service. Mud Dock found that the Shimano hub gear was broken. They offered a replacement option using Sturmey Archer parts. It took several months to source all the parts and the result was excellent. My trusted town bike has been given a long life extension.

Popped in again yesterday with a flat tyre, and 2 grumpy kids who had to walk as the GSD was unrideable. even though the workshop was shut and it was end of the day, they squeezed me in and did it on the shop floor, changed my tube and put on a new tyre. Thanks Simon! Tops!

Came in with an emergency. Fixed me up in 15 mins free of charge. Thank you so much Will you're a legend xx

Superb customer service from friendly and helpful staff. Needed a Brompton tool kit to replace my rear tube as countless patch repairs failed, likely due to the heat at present. Staff checked and confirmed stock and gave me advice on how to not mess up the rear hub gears when changing the tube.

My brakes failed in middle of 3 day ride. They didn't have time to replace worn disks on spot but were able to tighten brakes - good enough to get me back to Bath. Extremely helpful. 100% recommendation.

I foolishly got my security chain jammed in the gear sprocket and had to carry my bike there. Even though the workshop was closed for stocktaking, one of the lovely and skilled mechanics, put my bike on a stand and meticulously freed the chain. I'm so grateful.

Recently got my Canyon serviced here. Paul and the team were great. Very polite and service was done in a couple of days ready for a weekend ride. Used quality components and bike is smoother than ever. Thanks again.

It's a great shop! We've been in twice recently to get advice/assistance on a kids bike and they've been really helpful both times. Gave guidance and helped fix an issue with the back tyre.
