We stumbled across this pub whilst house hunting a week ago. Aside the salads being the biggest I've ever seen, the staff and landlords are so welcoming and friendly. We "popped" in for lunch and left 5 hours later!! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. I would also highly recommend the homemade ice creams. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. A beautiful family run pub

Great local pub to grab a bite. Met the bartender Paul who was a lot of fun to chat with. People were very friendly and the food was really really good. The salads are massive with pretty much any toppings you can think of. Staff were very friendly and always checking up to see if we needed anything. Loads of laughs. Def recommend this pub for a visit and we plan to return.

Lovely atmosphere - we stopped off here for a break on our way back to London from the coast. Very warm and welcoming to us strangers. We didn't eat so can't comment on the food.

Great service, fresh beer, friendly staff AND the land lady gave me her very own fruit & nut bar, presumably because I looked like I would die without it following a hilly bike ride... I very kind gesture 😊

We will be returning! Thank you 😬

I moved into the village 2 months ago and have received nothing but a 'harty' welcome! Paul, Rebecca and the team are always so friendly and laid back. The clientele are just as friendly and are happy for you to join in the banter or let you sit and do your own thing.
I finally managed to try the food last night, too! The pizza was gorgeous; I highly recommend it.

Well the reviews that I read lived up to there name after having a midweek meal here.
Much smaller than I imagined, just a bar with a back room for sit down meals, the menu was quite basic with normal pub type grub but wow !! The food was absolutely first class, all the veg was super fresh, the portion sizes were big enough to give the dog a good feed when we got back which he lapped up and it didn't touch the sides lol .
The staff were very friendly and chatty and service was very quick.
We had a starter and main with drinks and it came to £50
Iv paid much more for much much less far too many times so would defo recommend, just need to book as I think these guys get busy .

Absolutely delicious steak and ale pie. The crust was perfect; the meat was tender and very flavorful. Friendly atmosphere and welcoming to visitors from America. If I lived in the area, I'd be a frequent patron.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat and it was great! They were full for Sunday roasts but said they’d do us something off their regular menu which was really kind of them. The chicken and chips and sausage and chips were both really good and great value for money. All the staff were really warm and friendly - a brilliant, down to earth little pub! And nice space to eat outside as well.

Family run business, and all extremely welcoming, felt as if we were the only customers that matter. Although the menu is limited the food and service is top notch. And home made ice cream was out if this world. A gem of a find and we will be visiting again.

Fantastic!
We had some family come down and visit and wanted somewhere close to where they were staying so we thought we would try this place. We read good reviews and wasn't dissapointed.
Food was a good portion size especially the egg ham and chips
And afters was ice cream home made the owners mother gave us a lovley talk about how they came to owning the pub and that they make so many different flavour ice creams (which were to die for) will definitely return again I didnt want to give a review really I wanted to keep this place as my little secret but they deserve so many customers.
Barman was very friendly and had a nice joke with us about changing stuff on the menu to prove its all homemade.
Thanks guys!

Whilst driving back from the 750 motor club racing at Snetterton, there was a group of us in 3 separate motor homes and very hungry. We had no idea where to stop and get food so I googled the nearest pub and found this gem! The landlord and the staff were so friendly and even guided us where to park the motor homes. The food was absolutely fantastic and such a warm and friendly environment. Will definitely be going there again!

Absolutely wonderful pub. We had dinner there with our family and ordered a variety of dishes. All of them were well prepared and really delicious. The landlord and staff were super friendly and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Looking forward to going there again very soon.

A lovely traditional village pub. Very welcoming landlord - considering we hadn't booked, he squeezed us in and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The menu was basic but very tasty, all served in little baskets, ideal for a hot summers evening! We sat in the small garden outside, followed the social distancing posters/one way system, filled out a track and trace form, and felt at ease the whole time. Brilliant service, we will be back! Thank you!

Had a wonderful roast lunch yesterday with my family, as a vegetarian the chef who I believe is the landlady made a delicous pie for two of our party which was very tasty and there was ample for everyone, unfortunately I was too full to try the desert which also looked delicious. A very friendly place with a fabulous team who were all very attentative. Will definately be back when visiting my family again. A real pub, clean throughout with nice lavatories and outside seating.
Thank you to the landlord, landlady and their team for their super hospitality.
