I took my daughter here today and I have to say everything was perfect. They had birthday confetti on the table for her, the food was the best food I have had in a long time. The wine was lovely and smooth. The lady who served us was so lovely too. We had a great time

First time here with family. Nice relaxed atmosphere, service with a smile! Great experience and exceptional food and drinks. Extensive cheese and wine menu and accompaniment of main, starter and shared dishes. Will definitely return!!

Visited on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was packed, which generally is a good sign.
My first visit to a Cote and I didn't know they were a chain restaurant.
However despite my trepidation I was really impressed by the food. I had calamari to start which had a nice light batter and wasn't rubbery at all. Then duck for main which fell off the bone, delicious. Portion size and prices were reasonable.
Our waitress could have been a tad more attentive as we had to constantly ask to be served.
I would visit again and recommend.

The restaurant is much bigger than I anticipated, has a very stylish decor, and importantly it was spotlessly clean.

We really enjoyed the food. The menu has plenty of options including vegetarian. The grilled salmon was, according to my wife, very good. I chose the burger which also tasted very good. To drink we both chose the elderflower presse which was very good. We did think that it was expensive at £4.25 each, but it was delicious.

The staff were efficient and attentive, we were greeted with a welcome and as we stood up to leave, we were received a lovely thank you and comment about the weather now improving!

Beautiful mirrored setting along a charming pedestrian street in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. Food was seasoned perfectly and presented well. Steak for 2 was plenty. The gratin potatoes were a favorite!

The food is absolutely outstanding but during our visit the main course took over an hour to come, only to arrive cold due to complications with the air con in the kitchen. The staff went above and beyond to recifty this and didn't let this spoil our visit which means we will definitely be returning. Thank you!

We had a really nice meal here. It was very busy, which is a very good sign. I went for the mushroom bourguignon and a cheese soufflé. I was really impressed . Great veggie option. We would definitely come back.

All courses on the Prix Fixe lunch were delicious and great value -- with welcoming and efficient service from start to finish. Interior feels and looks a lot more spacious, high quality and light than it does on the photo on their website and in these reviews. Highly recommend.

Had a really lovely meal here a few nights ago with special friends. Not too crowded as mid week. Service was good with a casual banter which was friendly.
Would definitely go there again.

From the moment my mum and I walked into the restaurant we where greeted by a big smile from our 'to be' waitress. After this we where shown to our table. The waitress was super! Could not fault her service and attention to detail. It was my mums birthday and it was because she always used to travel to France with my late father on holidays that she chose this restaurant. She was over the moon with it. My mum had seen a cocktail that she had seen on the website and struggled to describe it. The waitress (forgive me I forgot her name, bit she is the one with a big smile and bright red hair) went and spoke to a bar tender. They then come out with a drink they would recommend based on the flavours and kind of day it was (a bit muggy outside). Mum loved it and it was in the end gifted as a birthday treat for her which was a really nice touch. Bravo on a great meal and the atmosphere that was created by your staff!

For a chain, it delivers. Probably some of the best steak in and around BSE. Excellent service. However, everything is on the expensive side. £9 wines and £4.95 for a 270ml of Kronenbourg.

Lovely service- our waitress Emily was so nice and attentive, all the staff were very friendly. My favourite was the sharing dessert (Apple Tart). The Duck a l'Orange was also a very good choice for the main. Excellent place worth coming back. Thank you to all the staff for the nice evening!

Always have a good time here! Excellent food, service and ambience, this restaurant doesn't feel like a chain restaurant.
The staff and chefs are really good and easily cater for gluten free and allergies with no issues :-) my brother is gluten free, and this is never an issue, thank you for a relaxed and reassured dining experience.

The food is delicious, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The staff are great, very polite and friendly and very accommodating of special requests.

It can get busy at peak times so make sure you book on advance.

Pictured is the 'Cassoulet de Toulouse' this has recently been added to the menu and it was fantastic, very delicious, very filling and perfect presentation.

Had a really lovely brunch with champagne as an extra lovely surprise,food was excellent as was the service and such a lovely place definitely go back again
