Half Moon Mildenhall

I come in every few weeks for Sunday roast and the food is delicious. Always hot and great quality, especially the Yorkshire puddings. Came in for Mother’s Day and we had amazing service. The manager offered to take a picture of myself and daughters together, this was so thoughtful as I am a single mother. I was given a beautiful rose which wasn’t expected. Every time the service is excellent and the staff are so lovely. Thank you so much :)

Was so nice to see clean tables, been coming here years and it dropped in standards. We thought we would try again as we stopped going. We went on mother's day evening. We was surprised. We was greated by a manager I believe called Terry, he was very welcoming and took us to our booked table. All staff was pleasant and service very good. Food had dropped its standards but we ordered 4 different meals, desserts, drinks, coffee and it was very tasty and cooked to perfection. We was asked if we needed anything else and how was our meal and service was with smiles too. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are coming back regularly like we used to. But we wanted to thank the staff for the great service and Terry your a Ray of sunshine and you couldn't of done more to make us feel welcome if you tried. Thank you again to all the staff. Its what the place needed and a little refurbish will go a long way. See you all soon and we'll done you all worked so hard.

The Half Moon is a very nice place to go and eat and have a drink. The staff are very friendly and polite. My wife had a mix up steak sizzler and I had a banging katsu banquet. The steak sizzler was exactly as described and cooked as ordered and the katsu banquet was amazing. The only negative is some of the furnishings really do need to be changed as well worn but overall highly recommend. They also have charging points for electric cars.

They are very quick to bring you the food, they bring it hot and with enough, we ordered a kind of combo (photo below) 2 +enough for 3, It was also my first time trying Guinness beer because im Mexican, and it was very nice. There they have a very large TV where you can watch soccer games or any other sport, I imagine they have a medium-sized pool table where I had a good time playing. I highly recommend the onion rings and sweet potato.

We travel from bury st Edmund’s to mildenhall. Just because the staff are wonderful the chef is incredibly. 10/10. We will continue to travel to the half moon. Thank you all for always making us feel so welcome 🙏

100% hands down the best waiter I have been served by. Terry was fast, humouress and professional. Lovely gentleman 10/10 service. Will be coming again :)

Although the pub itself is a little run down we had a excellent time. Food was good with large portions and the service was wonderful. Good variety of drinks available and very good prices. We will be recommending

We had a lovely sunday roast. Out waiter was brilliant. His name was terry or gary. He was a cheetful happy person who made out time there very enjoyable

Really friendly atmosphere. Great for families. A good range of pub favourites and more on their huge menu.

Good sized portions too. I'm on the plumper side of chubby and often struggle to fit it all in!

Really nice staff, lots of seating, and ample free parking. Nice outdoor seating area too.

I first came here a few months back and now eat dinner here 3-4 times a week. It's fantastic!

After an epic drive only to find my accomodation (elsewhere) was mis-booked. A bad day. Gary and the gang saved my day by doing me a fantastic steak even after the kitchen had officially closed. Great grub, lovely kind people whose customer service ethos cannot be beaten. Added bonus was a sizeable Blue Light Card discount, when I would have happily paid OVER the odds rather than have a McDonalds nearby. Thank you.

We called in for Lunch, friendly quick service. I really enjoyed my mixed grill. Excellent value for money.

We popped in and had a bite to eat for lunch. Very pleasant staff and the food was quick , nice and very reasonably priced. Decor was tired , but I realise that's not the staff's fault. Much better than it used to be...

Visited during a busy weekend. After having some drinks, we’ve decided to order some food, and it was such a good idea, because the food here is delicious. Friendly service also.

Had a lovely meal here today - food was excellent, better than I was expecting. Service was also good, food was served quickly (steak sizzler, veggie lasagne) and the waitress was courteous.
What more could you want!

Would highly recommend it both myself and other friends and family were here for a few days and we eat two nights in a row food and staff were excellent and we are all looking forward to returning in the future all the best from the McGibbons fa Glasgow

Had an amazing meal with my children and was served by Claire. She was amazing! Had a Wednesday meal deal curry with a drink. Great value for money!

Haven't been here for ages but it's just as good , the bartender/waitress was lovely , so friendly, was too much trouble , and efficient .

New manager Terry friendly and efficient. Food much better than last month! Will be back!!

Food was good with quick service. friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.
