Afonwen Craft & Antique Centre

The meal was excellent, Welsh Rarebit to start, oven baked trout cooked to perfection with homemade tartar sauce, thick chips and garden peas, then a nice black cherry and chocolate Sunday as dessert, also had a delightful mulled wine as a Christmas treat. Very friendly, polite staff giving excellent service. All that was just over £30, really good value in pleasant surroundings

Found this place on drive 2 Denbigh. Great craft and antique place restaurant also available. Very busy with the elderly generation loverly place for lunch do afternoon teas as well indoor outdoor seating on a quite stream

Went with my Mother on her Birthday so wonderful we will make a return visit.Staff were beautiful food was great delicious.Full marks to everyone.

Wow. We had fabulous meals for 4 here today. Every table was occupied, and the staff worked really hard to deliver great meals at an unrushed pace (we had 3 courses each at around £35 per head including drinks).
Deffo worth a visit... but I'd say booking is essential to get prime lunch time tables (12-3).

Really good food and lovely place to browse. Homemade roll! Delicious ham. The cakes look amazing. Can't wait to go back. Excellent service too. Book on a weekend!

Lovely setting, can easily spend 45minutes to an hour here. Great restaurant on site, good free parking. All the staff helpful..antiques, crafts, gift shop and reasonable priced. Would definitely recommend.

I recommend everyone to pay a visit to Afonwen and enjoy a really good browse, pick up a few items on your way around and end up in the cafe for a grand choice of big or small meal or cakes. Go on spoil yourselves.

Nice food, very polite and attentive staff

We have just had an Easter Saturday meal at Afonwen. The food was lovely and all the staff were so friendly. Then we had a look around the centre and the gift shop. Where the staff were also very friendly. It was a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday. Will hopefully go again. And would definitely recommend it to others. Also I forgot to mention the desserts. Amazing. Spoilt for choice and homemade.

Our first visit to the antique centre and restaurant. Safety high standards. Food was really good lovely atmosphere. Then treated ourselves to a lovely Glass ornament in the Craft Centre

Excellent place for antiques and for fabulous food. I would highly recommend coming here for a day out.

Edenshine Restaurant is wonderful. Great quality unpretentious food some more traditional dishes. Service is fantastic and desserts - well always hard to choose as they're all always gorgeous as are the cakes.

Bit underwhelmed as far as the antiques go as they don't seem to change that often.

Not many crafts, an OK selection of antiques but a brilliant cafe, hence the five stars. They have a great choice of homemade dishes and cakes, especially for those on a gluten-free diet and staff that really know what they're serving. But make a reservation as it can be busy, and deservedly so, at any time. The gift shop is great too, especially for greetings cards.

If you like antiques , gifts and cake this is definitely worth a drop in. Saw signs off A55 and decided to have a detour. Worth it for the picturesque place to have a break and cuppa. Good selection of gifts and antiques . Don't be put off when you pull up in car park , we nearly didn't go in as no other cars about and that would have been a mistake.

A gem of a place. Excellent to browse round the many rooms and glass cases. Beautiful crafts and the best cakes I have seen anywhere.

Fabulous place also had a meal there staff were so friendly and food was spot on.
