Nice walk in the sun up to the castle. The view were great. I would advice walk around the castle on the way down and loop back to the most beautiful beach. Was great to take our dog!

Really well looked after. Such a gem. Amazing to look out over the estuary from the castle ruins. Totally beautiful.
(FYI it's a bit of a walk from the public parking at the beach up to the castle so wear your walking boots!)

Nice castle with a little walk up a hill. Free entry. Dog friendly. Once you've been up to the castle as you are coming back down the hill you can get to the beach. There is a dog ban on the beach Infront of llansteffan but past the play area is dog friendly beach, nice and quiet too

Lovely ruins of a 13C castle. Be prepared for a steep climb up a narrow road but the views are great and enough space for a picnic at the top. Nice bit of history on a few signs too. Great opportunity for photos.

I've never seen such an extensive castle layout and the information boards around gave a real picture of how this castle was used. Full marks to the folk who keep this open, which is great to visit and learn from.
The views from the top are brilliant too (see the pictures attached).

Beautiful beach, lovely long stretch for walks. Shells galore for if your children are like ours and collect them! A bit of an uphill walk to the castle but we'll worth it. We had the best day out here
