The Village Stores Llansteffan

Lovely little shop we found after the beach tearoom as shut on a Wednesday. If you want the breakfast rolls get there before 10.30. We arrived after 11 . Ordered toasties , made with local bread . Very tasty and the capuchin was yum . They have soya oat and normal milk and cater for gluten free too.

Called into the shop for the first time in ages, lovely decor and a great range of homemade and local produce. The lady who served me (the owner I think) was lovely, very friendly and helpful, will definitely be a more frequent shopper.

The bistro pizza behind the shop is fantastic! Friday and sat evenings. Friendly staff, amazing food

Vanmiddag dat we over het Llansteffan strand hadden gewandeld zijn we hier gestopt voor een koffie en een versnapering.
Het is zowel een kleine supermarkt als een pizzeria met een bar en een paar tafels waar aan gegeten kan worden. Aan de voorzijde staan 2 picknicktafels waar je kunt zitten. Parkeren kun je aan de straat. Vriendelijke dame die ons hielp. We bestelden bij de balie en werd netjes uitgeserveerd aan tafel achterin bij het restaurant gedeelte. Een lekkere koffie en een lokale lekkernij. Zeker de moeite waard. Contactloos betalen werkt goed. Minimaal £2,50 uitgeven.

Great friendly village store, fresh coffee and bread in the morning and always a welcoming face. Always found what we needed, bacon, ham, cheese,eggs all at a reasonable price. Such a lovely friendly village.

Friendly place to pick up some groceries and have a drink while you’re at it!

Pleasant little village store located within the main through street. Parking is limited on one side of the street. The product range is small as you would expect in a village store although there is the added benefit of the sub post office. The shop could do with refitting which would add to the customer experience as well as better merchandising. There are very odd opening times which I find very strange. The staff are helpful and welcoming. Having said the above comments we should try to support our local shops or they will be lost.

I don't like down scoring community projects as I appreciate people give their time and effort to keep a well needed community service going. However both times I've visited this shop I've come away empty handed as it is very poorly stocked even compared to similar size village stores. Seems well intentioned but not so practical.
