Amazing food, huge portions! Great value for money and lovely staff. Very quick service too, considering there was a large order. 5 stars would recommend to anyone in the area.

George's is a great place and a staple amongst the community! Possibly one of the best fish and chip shops I've been to! Now I haven't sampled everything from the menu but I make a point of trying as much as I can! And every time everything has been bang on! I would definitely recommend trying them out! Now as for the place itself the atmosphere is normally great with good staff. However some are better than others but it would not be George's without Tom! To summarise the food and staff are great. Service is great and for a fish and chip shop it's incredible! But it doesn't stop there. Some of their other dishes are great too! I would recommend the beef Thai curry! But at Christmas time. The Yorkie Christmas special is the way to go!

So enjoyed our breakfast at George’s only just managed the medium breakfast my husband had the large 😳. Very tasty, clean, good thick bacon eggs were spot on and it set us up for the day. We will be back weekly for a treat.

Having George’s fish and chips is a real treat for us, the food is absolutely amazing and always tastes fresh and the portion sizes are bang on. The chips are hands down the best chippy chips I’ve had!
The cleanliness of the shop is fantastic, it’s always tidy and clean.
I’ve met a number of staff during the times I’ve been including the owner himself and they are all incredibly pleasant and well mannered. They all create a well working, balanced environment making the atmosphere there a great experience.
Overall 10/10! It’s a shame I don’t live closer because this place is one of the best!

Fantastic menu with a good selection of Gluten Free too.
The batter on the fish is absolutely gorgeous and crispy. The chips are cooked to how they supposed to be and taste fantastic. Wait time is very short with good turnaround.

Will always call in when in the area as its in a good location just off the main road and easy to get to from the dual carriageway.

They also take orders over the phone and card payment which is always handy when in a rush.

First time order -Massive portions lovely food, we all enjoyed. Haven't had proper chippy in a long time. Quick delivery and polite and friendly service. Can't go wrong, we'd definitely order again soon.

Fantastic customer service, the food is absolutely mouth watering and my kids eyes light up whenever they are offered a George's and plates are more often than not cleared and a whole family with very full bellies 😁 highly recommended. Plus a special mention to Tom who is always so pleasant and talkative and his memory of who is who astounding.

Foods always perfectly cooked, great portion sizes, service is excellent, can't recommend George's highly enough.

One of the best fish and chip shops in wales. Lovely chips with the perfect texture, fish is beautiful and fresh too. Very generous portion sizes. A must visit if you are in st clears.

I must admit that I had no idea this place existed, so was pleasantly surprised to find this on the way back from the hospital in bancyfelin. The premises was very tidy and presentable, the staff were also very polite and helpful.

When my mum asked about the difference between a small & large cod, she was shown the actual fillets by the fryer which I was deeply impressed with.

The cod and chips were lovely to eat, the cod had light and fluffy batter and the chips were fresh and soft, just the way I like them.

I will definitely be coming back to this chip shop whenever I venture out of Pembrokeshire 😁

Visited George's as they offer gluten free. Found after a Google search as we are staying in the area for the weekend.

No need to pre-order.
Lovely food and good portion sizes.
My other half (not gluten free) was very happy to see they had saveloy on the menu.
Woul definitely recommend if in the area.

Just had chicken madras curry rice and chips omg got to say was amazing very tasty and plenty of it , stuffed now just need a beer cheers guys top notch

Fantastically chip shop always fresh and good size portions with a very clean premises. Staff always very friendly. Would highly recommend!! The best chip shop I know and well worth a visit if you’re in the area or a regular like us!

I made an order for 6 meals over the phone, and went to collect them as agreed half an hour later. Everything was ready exactly on time, hot, crisp and perfectly cooked. Generous portions and great value for money!

Great fish and chips that were cooked to order, meaning a short wait but worth it. Plentiful portions and good quality food. Plenty of parking. Recommended.
