Marine Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at the marine hotel. The staff are amazing and happy to help and go that extra mile. I witnessed a demanding guest give the manager a very hard time because she was unable to deal with her request straight away. She was on her own at the time and explained she would have to wait until a member of staff came on duty in 15 minutes. The guest was very rude to her, which was uncalled for. There are signs in the rooms saying they only service the room on your departure, which I was great and not a problem for me. You can request to have the room serviced at reception if you want to. The hotel is exceptionally clean and warm throughout, the food is great and the staff are fantastic. I highly recommend the Marine Hotel.

This is a historic hotel and I imagine that keeping on top of all the maintenance must be like painting the Forth Bridge. I expect it never ends. With this in mind; expect and forgive it's little quirks, especially as they aren't charging very much for the fantastic location right on the beach. The staff were super friendly and cheerful, the room and hotel clean and quiet although there were plenty of guests with most tables taken at breakfast. The place is big enough to absorb numbers of people without it feeling busy. The toilet facilities all over were up-to-date and spotless. The breakfast was delicious, especially the sausages - varied food available and as much as you want. The pool I have taken a picture of - it's a great little pool. Clean and warm (both water and air). Not deep, 5 feet max - I enjoyed doing my walking exercises in there. The quirks about it are that it's tucked away in a 1980's style basement down quite steep stairs and the changing rooms are closed for new flooring to be fitted, meaning that you have to walk back to your room wet. However, the towels in the room are generous size and no-one got an eyefull on my way back. The hotel is warm throughout so it wasn't a terrible thing. The visit to the pool requires a code and they allow only ten people in there at once so perhaps sometimes you can't go in - but we had no problem. I'd prefer numbers limited really, rather than it getting splashy. I really liked this interesting building and the feel of the place. I was comfortable my whole time there which gives it top marks.

Staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful, and absolute asset to the hotel. It was Mums 80th and the receptionist put banners up and petels on the bed. Thank you. Lovely breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay

Great few night stay, staff were pleasant, rooms were decent size with a view of the the sea and quiet enough for a good night sleep

We had a lovely room with a bay window. It was very clean.
The staff were great and helpful.
The hotel is on the front and within walking distance of the shopping park. It is about a half mile walk to the lively pubs and clubs but taxis are readily available or alternatively there is the hotel bar with entertainment.

The pool was lovely and warm, and even warmer for my second dip. I really enjoyed swimming, thank-you.
Llandudno is delightful. We love the bay with it's fabulous pier.

We have just returned from a four day stay at the Marine Hotel. We had a brilliant stay. We stayed in a Superior room which was large, well equipped and had an amazing sea view where we could see all the beach, promenade and pier. The meals were extremely good. Breakfast consisted of everything that you would want. Very good cooked breakfast,cereals and continental pastries, fruit. All very good quality and well cooked. The evening meal consisted of three courses. You could get less courses if you wished. There were different choices every night. The food was always well presented. We enjoyed every meal. The biggest asset to the Marine is its staff. They were all excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. They make sure that you had everything you wanted to make your stay trouble and problem free. You could not single out any one member of staff that was better than another. They were all equally committed. We will definitely go back to the Marine Hotel.

Ok.. So it's a old building but it's spotlessly clean and great value for money. Wholesome breakfast and right on the seafront. It's the third time we've stayed and intend to be back next year

This is a really great hotel, slightly dated but a fantastic place to stay. The staff so really great, looked after me and my 6yr old daughter like we were royalty. If you get tye chance book a room, in a great seafront location close to all main attractions.

The marine hotel is on front & side of the promenade in llandudno. We stayed here on a 4 day break with national holidays. We had a sea view room & it was so nice to look out & see the beach & sea from the bedroom window. The staff are so nice & friendly & the food was really nice too. Really enjoyed our 4 day holiday. First time at this hotel but it was very nice & comfortable

Bit dated but very clean and presented. Very friendly staff with a nice bar and a good selection of beers and drinks lots of space for entertainment.

Really friendly and helpful receptionist. What a credit to the company! Couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. Only thing was food stopped at 8pm which wasn't great as we arrived late, but the room was very clean and all staff were friendly. Good price, great location. Dog friendly too.

Just had a wonderful week at the Marine Hotel, cannot wait to revisit.
For someone who loves a swim but can't go to normal swimming baths due to anxiety issues and body scars, this was a delight.
All staff pleasant, but special praise for Ryan and Andy. Bar food great and loved the choice.
Sea View and shower deserve specific mention.
One constructive review would be I would have liked a better choice of breakfast, especially for longer stays, for example, not just fried or scrambled eggs. My sister does not drink tea or coffee nor orange juice, so cranberry juice or hot chocolate would have put icing on the cake for her.
Location of hotel for coach or rail passengers was superb.

Stayed here this weekend with my mum lovely hotel. The staff were really helpful nothing was too much trouble.Our room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed & lovely white fluffy towels. Breakfast was a full English with cereals & juice to start really set you up for the day .The view from the room was amazing. We could see right along the prom & it was positioned well as we were here to go to the theatre, but it was close to the town and also the pier. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful Victorian hotel. Amazing sea views. The staff have all been so friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice touch, especially for our little boy on the rainy days
A good breakfast, comfy beds, right on the promenade. What more could you want.
Will definitely be back.
