Pieces for Places Barmouth

This is an Aladdins cave. Absolutely packed full of quality unusual stuff you won't find elsewhere. We went in for a look around and ended up spending £400 on 3 lovely items. Then left with plans for more purchases online where they sell with low delivery charges. The guy told us he only sells unusual stuff until he sees it popular on the internet and moves on to the next new item.

5 August 2022: My partner and I purchased two plush velvet Croydon Wing Chairs (near-identical to the attached image) from Pieces for Places. There is quite a long lead time before delivery (20 to 24 weeks, but can be longer), as each chair is crafted to order. I can assure you the wait is well worth it! Refined. Robust. Ridiculously comfortable! 10/10 from us... or five gold stars if you prefer. :)

A surprise gem in the heart of Barmouth. Refreshing change from the run of the mill chains with tasteful choices on furniture , kitchenware, rugs, ornaments both practical and decorative. Most people will find something’new’ here than previously seen online or in the big stores. Lots of choice in the old chapel building, nice place to visit and decent pricing.

What an amazing place! We ordered several items for our home and were blown away by the level of service. James and the team couldn't be more helpful, and the level of product knowledge and attention to detail to get everything right was exceptional. First rate service from the moment you walk through the door to the delivery guys.

Fabulous boutique with a wide range of home furnishings and accessories. Very difficult not to leave having bought something. Beautiful building too. Highly recommended.

Some amazing furniture and house decorations. A bit on the higher end of the price scale, but all really good quality... definitely no tat or cheap rubbish here!
It's almost worth a visit just to see the beautifully restored interior of this stunning old chapel.

Over the moon with my new dining chairs that arrived yesterday. Top quality service from start to finish. Huge thank you to Ruari and Jordan who delivered and built the chairs in my home AND took away all the packaging!

I ordered a 60cm fire pit online. Service was incredible…somehow I’d left my house number out of the form. They called to check within 24 hours, advised that the pit would arrive 3 days later, which it did. It’s superb quality. Great price too. Delivery charge entirely reasonable… it’s a heavy thing! We are thrilled! Thoroughly recommend. Go Wales!!

Lovely shop, very interesting bits and pieces. I have bought from here in the past very happily. Recently had a faulty item which they resolved very simply and easily. Highly recommend.

Nothing to complain about, a great shop for buying furniture and items for the home, Pieces for Places has a great old-fashioned mixed with modern aethstetic. Some items are very expensive but the quality makes the products worth it. Great items for a millennial home. Great staff also.

Beautiful place....Great items (some quirky) and very reasonably priced

This store is on the High St and has a distinctive entrance and appearance.The store is a converted Chapel that has been tastefully done. The furniture and household items are spread over 2 floors and are clearly high quality items. It is not cheap, but you will find furniture items that you have to have. A quality shop.

Both myself and sister bought beautiful sofas here without stupid prices. Great individual pieces of furniture and lovely homeware bits and pieces - all very different to the norm. Worth the distance we drove. Owner nice young guy - no hard sell. Well done on this fantastic business!

Such a great place to buy all those things you didn't realise you really needed for your home.
When I need new furniture this will be the store to go. I do have lots of their knick knacks around my house, and they are tasty, definitely not tacky.

We walked in 5mins before closing.The whole team couldnt do enough for us. No rushing all the time in the world. One member of staff even offered to carry our item to our hotel for us. Fantastic service and online facility.

An eclectic mix of good quality industrial, weathered oak and modern furniture, fabulous comfortable sofas and stylish tables, lamps, pictures etc in a converted Chapel covering three floors. A great selection of cushions, tableware and unusual designs make Pieces for Places well worth a visit.
