Harbour bike hire @ Birmingham garage

Friendly service, recommended. Good bikes and helmet and toolkit. We reserved 2 days in advance (advisable in high season) and were able to confirm full/half day hire on the day. Great ride on national cycle route 8 to Penmaenpool.

Hired 2 adult and 2 kids bikes so we could ride the Mawddach Trail, which starts just up the road and is 9 miles along a flat traffic free route to Dolgellau with stunning views. Service was brilliant, made sure all was good with the bikes before we left, helmets provided, and a tool bag with spare inner tubes and locks. Would happily recommend and we’ll do it again one day when we’re not rushing back to beat the rain!

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children visiting Snowdonia for a few days. We hired bikes from here for half a day to cycle the Mawddach trail. The service was friendly and helpful. Location of this bike rental place is excellent as you literally start the Mawddach trail cycle route up the hill. Would recommend to anyone looking for bikes to explore the local area. Thank you 😊

My husband and I would highly recommend hiring a bike from here. The lady was SO helpful telling us where to go and even giving us a map. A bicycle repair kit and safety hats were included in the price which we found very reasonable. Thanks again to the owner. We had a great day out and if in Barmouth again, we will certainly use this bike hire company again.

We had a simply wonderful experience. My family of 4 hired bikes and other gear just today to take on the Mawddach trail. Excellent bikes. Very friendly service. Excellent, friendly service. Called for last minute availability (on a Bank Holiday Monday) and they kindly reserved 3 bikes until we got there. Arrived and the bikes were all ready and fully sanitised. They also gave us some good directions for the lovely Mawddach cycle route. Would definietly recommend.

visiting barmouth in May 2022 for a couple of days with my son and stepson. we didn't need to rent bikes as we had brought our own but on two separate occasions we called at harbour bike hire, the first time I realised on arrival my tyres were low on air pressure, the second occasion my step sons bike's chain had some how become tangled and needed fixing on both occasions the gentleman here sorted both problems out for us. a really friendly and helpful man. thankyou. I also noticed the prices on offer were really competitive and having a bike round barmouth is definitely a good idea if camping in the surrounding areas which we were.

Good quality and well looked after bikes for a very good price. Service was very friendly and helpful, and included a bike lock and puncture repair kit too which was helpful. For £16 for a whole days hire, it was great value.

We hired bikes and dog trailer from Birmingham garage. We popped in to check prices and availability and we were met by the super friendly owner. That sealed it. Bikes were booked.
It was such a smooth and easy process, the kits great and we had an awesome day exploring with our very unimpressed pooch!! I think she thought I said she would be in a chariot.
I couldn't recommend this place enough and supporting local businesses is a privilege.
Get on a bike and get exploring! If it's been a while maybe get the gel seat...

The bike was fully equipped with tool kit lock and pump.

Great place. After an impromptu decision to ride the trail we called up the Garage asking if they had any bikes available for us to arrive in 30 mins. They had kindly reserved 2 for us, very comfortable bikes and perfect for the trail. A great day out, we cycled to the TH tea room in Dolgellau as recommended by the garage and were not disappointed. Thank you! 🚲

My husband and I were strolling round Barmouth one afternoon on holiday recently and found the bike hire. On impulse we decided to go for a ride along the Mawdach Trail. The lovely lady in charge could not have been more helpful..........kitted us two middle-aged non-cyclists out safely with two easy use bikes and helmets for a mere £10 each. And no return-time deadline to fret about. We had the most wonderful afternoon.....now looking to buy bikes and carry on cycling!! Cannot recommend this bike hire place enough!!!!

Called in to enquire about hiring 2 bikes to cycle the Mawddach Trail. The young lady who dealt with us could not have been more helpful. She offered a selection of bikes and advised on their suitability, without rushing us at all. Excellent customer service and very friendly.

Great place to hire bikes for a family. We tried to get some in Dolgellau but glad we ended up here as the service was very friendly, good value and quick and easy to start our family bike ride. Had a great time despite the rain, thanks very much.

Love this place. Last minute bikes all sorted & at geat price. Brilliant comms too. Then when you have finished your biking have the best ice cream you ever had just down the road. Wales rocks 😘

Really good service. My husband had a puncture in the week half way through cycle ride. We saw the garage and he fixed it immediately and didn't charge the earth! Would highly recommend.

Great staff hired a bike for my kid while on holiday even gave you a pump and a spare inner tube for the price of the hire.
Will be using again next year may book in advance next time just to make sure get a bike to fit him

Hired 8 bikes from this place and it only cost £10 each. The staff were super helpful even offered pick up if we a bike broke down. Would definitely use them again
