We recently just got home after the most amazing and peaceful two days away at bird rock camping, The views from the site are breath taking, We also got the chance to enjoy the star lit sky with what seemed like thousands of them in the sky (No Light pollution) Me my partner and dog pitched up on the camping field where you have plenty of space to pitch up (Doesn't feel cramped), The lady who runs the site is a really lovely lady who greeted us at the site and also came to our rescue when our car wouldn't start when we went to leave, One phone call and she was there within minutes with jump cables.

Toilets/Shower/Water refill all on site.

Plenty of hikes/walks to do and not far from the beaches

Overall a wonderful time and for sure be revisiting this camping site again.

Thank you for a lovely time Bird Rock!

See you soon :)

Me and my family have just come back from spending a week at this campsite and we will going back again next year!

Not only is the scenery breathtaking but it has everything you need! Toilets, showers, washing machine, kettle, microwave, and fridge freezers all within a minutes walk. This campsite is suitable for families, I know my boys loved making friends with other campers. With shallow streams with crystal clear waters, a waterfall on your doorstep and plenty of places to explore, I cannot rate this place high enough.

The staff were absolutely lovely and AJ was extremely helpful and pleasant. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Literally just came back today and had to review. Beautiful! Stunning location. Owner and site manager were lovely and so friendly and helpful. First time camping and won’t be the last. No phone signal which was an added bonus and gave us the peace and quiet we needed. Facilities were clean and looked after. Can’t fault it at all. Will definitely return.

Loved the experience although we only spent one night there. The campsite is located in a valley between Snowdonia mountains. This might be why we had a very windy night, but all in all we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The shower was fantastic, hot water with superb water pressure. Yes you pay a fee of 50p which nowadays is basically nothing. The good thing is that it is not on a timer so you can take your time and let that conditioner work its magic while you're scrubbing away a layer of dead skin!
Yes there will be bugs and spiders around, but what do people expect in the middle of nature? I read some of the reviews and I'm appalled at people's ignorance.
I cannot end this review without mentioning the campsite manager - Ajay - who walks with a perfect balance all around that Campsite while wearing high heels! I could not do it! Ajay was a ray a sunshine, always humming a song when we saw them, they welcomed us to the campsite and showed us around, such a lovely person!

Perfect in every way! Nice and peaceful location surrounded by hills with a river running through it. Welcoming, friendly, calm and relaxed atmosphere. There are walks and cycle routes from the camp and a variety of beaches within 10 miles to suit all. Beautiful waterfalls to visits close by with trails to follow. Can be as active or a relaxed as you want in this area. No WiFi or phone signal which is even better for a rest! Extremely accommodating owner who is always available when needed and a lovely lady.

Stunning campsite in a beautiful valley. Toilets and showers were fine. For such a great price this campsite is hard to beat.

Take a walk up to castel y bere or take a ride on the steam train to the beach. One of the best locations in the whole country!

Chilled, relaxed. Basic, clean. No signal or WiFi (part of the appeal). River at the back to swim in, good walks. Not too far to drive to the beach. If wanting a camp fire they don't sell fire wood. 2nd time of going, will be booking a 3rd trip soon

Lovely site! We tented for 3 nights. Basic facilities but really lovely rural setting, and a stream running past the camping field. Good base if you are doing the South Snowdon peaks, and a climb up Bird Rock has amazing views.

Absolutely loved this place, recently visited while camping with the family. Very friendly family run farm. Lots of noise from the cows and the sheep but that's part of the experience. Close to a few walks. If you're into long walks, no signal and just enjoying the surroundings and brilliant views please visit this camp site.

Out the way great to see stars, be weary driving down either very narrow lanes, but stunning location makes up for it. Perfect to paddle in the river on a hot day, climb bird rock to watch the sunset. Plenty of space between pitches.

Very basic campsite. If your looking for somewhere away from it all then this might be ideal.

There is some excellent walking opportunities and the river that rivers through the site is lovely.

Facilities are adequate but somewhat dated. Toilet shower block a small room with microwave and a fridge is available.

No phone reception at all.

Take care on the approach roads they can be extremely narrow. If in a large vehicle such as a motorhome then you need the road to in from Llangryn as this is wider and has more passing places.

Me and my husband have just had four amazing nights here, we both loved it we would highly recommend it, it is a working farm so expect the smells of the farm and there is no network here which didn't bother us there's a lovely river crystal clear water what you can swim in in parts truly beautiful scenery we will definitely be going back here .

knocked a star off only because the water supply didn't work in the shower, but that was likely just bad luck; otherwise friendly staff and a beautiful location made for a nice stay
