What a great place. In a motorhome and love to walk. You can wander down the lane and get to a pub in 20 minutes. You can continue on and take some lovely quiet single lane tracks and intriguing paths to Morfa Nefyn. You’ll deserve a coffee at the cafe before heading down to the great beach. Another 15 minutes and you are at the famous Ty Coch pub on the beach. Another drink is in order. A wander around the headland, over the golf course and then back to village where the garage shop is huge ( collect a couple of 20ps) and head back. A great day out and about. Early dinner in the local pub. If walking is not your thing then it’s 5 minutes to a £4 car park for the day or £5 if you go up to golf club.
The sites is brilliant, well managed with great shower ( 20-40p) - such friendly hosts. Internet is great with a mast 200m away. £17 a night - brilliant.

A gem of a site. No hard standing but as the week was so dry we had no problems on the grass. Lovely views, particularly enjoyed the wild flowers that had been left to grow along the hedge in the field.
Loos lovely to use, so clean.
Will definitely want to revist next year.

We have been coming to Garret Lwyd now for just over three years,we store our caravan here and visit on average every third weekend and all bank holidays and also a full week here and there. We love it and are always made very welcome by the owners Wynn and Ann,the site is very well kept and the shower and toilet facilities are always very clean. Ideal site for families or couples who want peace and quiet and is in good driving distance to all local beaches, shops and walking distance to the local pub which serves good food. We would definitely recommend this site to all our friends and family. We have just returned home after a eight night stay and can't wait until our next visit. We just love the site and the local area's which are all easily accessible via car or a nice peaceful walk.

My family stayed in the static caravan for a long weekend. The location was perfect - located at the end of a private lane, we didn't see a soul the whole time we were at the caravan. It's also just a mile from two amazing beaches which the boys loved. The caravan itself is stocked with everything we needed. We hope to go back next summer!

We have been holidaying at Garreg Llywyd for 11 years now, and store our caravan there as we stopped going to other sites! In beautiful countryside we have stayed in all seasons, including an unexpected snow storm one October.
The owners and their family are friendly and very helpful.
Our children have grown up with other regular visitors, and have loved their summers on the farm. They have fed lambs in spring, been taken for rides on Mr Davies’ quadbike and trailer, and have flown kites, seen amazing constellations in dark skies, experienced nature, made friends and made wonderful memories too. Garreg Llywdd has been a huge part of their childhood.
The site is simple and quiet, and within striking distance of many lovely beaches, towns, and villages. A great base for exploring the gorgeous peninsula. We still find something new even after so many years! There is a pub nearby, and the local Spar shop is excellent, with a stick of around 50 gins. The village also has a brilliant takeaway that does fish and chips, pizzas, and kebabs.
We love it.❤

We booked last minute here but a nice location to gather our thoughts & to take time out from the beach. Not ideal without a car but set in a lovely quiet location. Lovely owners, basic but clean showers and toilet.

On the plus side,This I a nice site with great owners.
On the negative side if you haven’t got Vodafone or EE apparently you won’t get a mobile phone signal we are on three so no good no Wi-Fi and we had to shell out £70 plus to get a Ariel so we could watch tv week the channels we view.
Showers 20p three mins was ok but you can’t lock the door while showering which is not good especially if your a female my opinion they should lock while your in there.
All in all not bad for £22 per night.
But GET THEM TOILET DOORS LOCKED WHILE PEPOLE ARE USING THEM.
Other that that peaceful site nice owners
