We have never been to the Lyn Peninsula before. What a wonderful place to stay on it. The views from the campsite were spectacular. The pitches were big and you could pick your own. The facilities were excellent. The cleanest toilet block. No matter what time you visited, it was spotless.
We wanted a peaceful rest from our stressful life and this was perfect.
We just walked. Visited Abersoch, Pwllheli and local Llanbedrog. The weather was brilliant but we are sure it would be great anytime.

Beautiful campsite with amazing views, Snowdon to the left and Cardigan bay to the right. Can't beat it. Facilities are immaculate. Caravan pitches are large and connected services reliable. Really handy for anything you want to do on the peninsula and beyond. We've had a van here since March and have explored much of beautiful North Wales. Our family has had pitches here over 20 years and we can see why! We want our toddler to grow up with great memories and this is a perfect regular location for that. Sad that we're coming to the end of the season now!

Great site with one of the best owners we have come across, Easter weekend and a waterlogged site so couldn't get on and he bent over backwards to find us an alternative.

What an amazing campsite. This is our forth year as a family returning, my kids love it. Felt very peaceful and spacious, despite staying at the busiest time of the season. Fabulous views of Cardigan Bay, amazing sunsets. Also very kid friendly, lots of space for mine to play and make friends! Also has excellent footpath links into Llanbedrog downhill, Myntho and also Abersoch and beaches, which are longer walks but still great access. Can never fault! Very welcoming , friendly owner and wardens, clean facilities. Would 100% recommend.

Stayed at Bogwrog in June and what a gem of a camp site. Generous sized pitches, well maintained facilities and super friendly and helpful staff. Superbly located for visiting the area's beaches and many attractions. Wonderful views from the site. Good facilities within the local village.
Will definitely use again when next in the area.

A lovely spot with spectacular views over Cardigan Bay. At the time we visited - mid-May - the site was very quiet and peaceful. Facilities are fine, touring pitches generally slightly sloping.

I can only echo what other reviewers have said. Stunning views, friendly, good clean showers and toilets, decent washing up facilities. A well run site. It's on high ground and so will be subject to high winds (so peg tents down well). Google summary says there is a bar. Not so, nor a shop, but pub is 15 minutes walk and shop 25 minutes.

Great campsite, been back two years running. Not too far from Abersoch, but positioned out of the way with a lovely view across to Snowdonia. Showers and toilets were immaculate. The site is not massive but did not feel crowded with each pitch alloted a good space.

Our favourite camp site that we use on a regular basis. With its free WiFi and specially built toilet and shower block that also has an attached place to do laundry and wash the pots. Great location and the view is outstanding. All in all this is the best site we have ever been to and that's why we keep coming back year after year.

Just got back from Bodwrog, could not fault it in anyway, I have to say the site is very well kept and the facilities the cleanest I've ever seen. I will definitely be booking again. Thanks for a great stay.

This is our third visit to Llanbedrog and the second time we have stayed at BODWROG.
The views from this well kept site are outstanding. The facilities are kept immaculately clean. The pitches are a good size so you never feel your encroaching on your neighbours.
The owners are very friendly and you don't often see them .
The whole experience, at this beautiful site, is one of total peace relaxation and few rules. As long as your not disturbing other campers then your okay. We have two very well behaved quiet dogs who love to say hello to anyone passing by. Which we allow as long as the people are comfortable with them. Many fellow campers stop to fuss our dogs and ask what breed our Large Munsterlander is.
We have just spent a week here and the dogs haven't needed to be tied out once😁.
The area is stunning with plenty of dog friendly beaches pubs and cafes.
And Wales is just beautiful. Your not far away from numerous attractions. Whilst here I did a ' FLY BEFORE WE DIE ' fundraiser for Large Munsterlander rescue. The velocity zip wire is about an hour's drive away and is a must for adrenaline seekers. ( I don't like heights it was done entirely to raise money) after saying that is do it again.
The tin man trail above Llanbedrog and Abersoch is a must walk offering amazing views.
Do come and stay at BODWROG. You will return.
