Bangor Tandoori Restaurant

As we entered the restaurant we were welcomed immediately and shown to our seats. I picked up on the relaxed atmosphere as soon as we sat down while admiring their unique and elegant interior. The staff where thorough with our orders and explained to us the different curries that we ordered. Making suggestions to help us enjoy our meals more. The food arrived and the smells where intoxicating as so where the flavor and textures. I am so saddened that this will be my last experience here for a while, I’ll be further saddened if, when, I return this place will be gone.

I cannot begin to recommend this place enough and I cannot wait for others to enjoy their wonderful restaurant.

Best Halal place to eat within half an hours drive. We were staying in the middle of Anglesey for around a week so tried different places in the area each night. We had a pleasant experience from our greeting while walking into the restaurant, the lovely waitress helping us to decide what to eat and the overall service and quality of food. Portion sizes were perfect, prices were reasonable. Two (very hungry) people with starters, main, dessert & drinks came to around £50. Will definitely reccomend.

Lively spicy food and very welcoming!

Had a chicken curry made with Naga chilies and assorted sides, and everything was delicious. But boy, they don't mess around, that curry was veeery spicy. It's interesting though, not so bad on the lips, but you can feel the spice in your chest, unlike other chilies. Don't forget to order a mango lassi!

The staff were very friendly. It's a family business and they took the time to chat with me and tell me about the restaurant, and the area, and generally made me feel very welcome, so thank you!

It's cash only, but there's an ATM nearby, and the shop near the ATM does cashback.

The place was clean and tidy. Food was good and came very quickly. Also the staff were polite and friendly. Would go again and recommend 👍

Wonderful food and wonderful service, I had the chicken tikka balti and it was delicious. Two things to be aware of when visiting, 1. They only take cash so be prepared, if you do forget there is a cash point over the road that is free of charge. 2. They operate under BYOB, so unless you just want soft drinks be sure to take some beer or wine or whatever takes your fancy. They do provide glasses of various shapes and will lend you a bottle opener should you need it. Highly recommend.

The best Indian food that I have had in Bangor. A wide selection, with a lot of house specials which all sound interesting, as well as the traditional Indian curries. The waiting staff were lovely and helped us immediately with any questions, they even let you take your own alcohol to have with the meal.

They customised our meals to the right spice and all the staff could explain the different meals in detail.

My wife birthday celebration was brilliant at tandoori restaurant. Ordered dishes was too delicious.I don't have words for chicken Tikka and matka kulfi in deserts was so tasty.😋😋 All staff service is very good. In future, I would like to enjoy my special moments at tandoori restaurant again. Thank you 🎉🎉🥂🥂🥂

Really good food and lovely staff. Advised to book as place buse any day of the week. No alcohol licence but an off licence next door and purchases welcomed by the restaurant staff.

Great food and friendly staff. Oh and you take your own booze 👍 And a warning...book. We turned up on a Wednesday night and it was nearly full. Managed to get the last table...lucky us.

Great Indian restaurant with great service and food. Had a variety of vegetarian and meat food. I’ve had many chicken dishes but never heard of Korai so we tried the chicken Korai dish and it was my favourite dish, to which I told the staff as they were promoting other chicken dishes and told them that they should promote this dish instead.

Great little find. We are from Bham and are spoilt with great curry houses and this place would beat many establishments on the balti mile for quality. Ordered North Indian Garlic lamb tikka with extra green chilli which was delicious, cooked just right so you could still taste the heat of the garlic. My wife ordered Murgi Masala and said this was equally as good. Friendly staff and well worth a visit.

First time here first time in Wales. Starters mix grill was really nice alot of flavours taste. Chicken jelfrazi was really really nice. Can't complain. Service was great. Will come here again in near future when am back in Wales. Can't complain everything was on point. Do come here if your around the area.
