Only 50p per adult to walk on the pier, stunning views and a great cafe at the end of the pier. A few vegan options which was great (would be nice if they had vegan hot chocolate powder)

Lovely long peir, with cute stores selling a selection of items that usually you can't buy in the highstreet. Good for giving gifts. Very reasonably priced with a 50p entry fee to help keep the peir running. Lovely cafe at the end that is good priced and a lovely selection of cakes and coffees. It can be very cold and a little slippy in winter, great place to look for birds when the tide is out.

This pier is on the outskirts of Bangor, and has it's own car park. There is a welcoming cafe at the end selling delicious cakes. A bird watcher's paradise , especially when the tide is low, it is a calm and pleasant place to walk. We really liked the pier and it's lovely shops.

My first visit and very impressed, no charge for blue badge parking, for others it's £1.50 too park.
It's 50p to go on the pier.
The lady in the pay kiosk was lovely very friendly and told us and gave us a leaflet on the history of the pier.

A lovely pier with a nice cafe at the end of. Wonderful view but our highlight was a wonderful local artists shop halfway up with some lovely and well priced paintings and prints.

Was lovely to again, after many years, stroll along this fine pier. The pier certainly takes a battering from the weather as it juts out into the Menai Straits but the folks there are actively maintaining the pier for generations to come.

For an August weekend the weather was a little breezy but the cafe at the bottom of the pier offered sanctuary, there was even a live act on to entertain everyone.

Loved this pier, jutting out from Bangor towards Anglesey. Absolutely gorgeous award winning Pier of the year 2022. Multicoloured huts, beautiful scenery whichever way you look. Beautiful summer solstice 21/6/23.

We met the most loveliest lady in the entrance box yesterday. She helped us to try and pronounce several Welsh names which well we couldn't and still can't say hahaha 😆 she helped us map read too being on our holiday from Birmingham / West Midlands. The lady was so lovely with a fab sense of humor plus great with kids. Popped into the cafe and had a cheeky hot choc while the kids played with the toys out :)

Garth Pier is stunning, the views from it are incredible, you can look up The Menai Straight and clearly see over towards Mt. Snowdon! It's only a quid each to use it which is truly brilliant! The lovely staff who are there to help you have vast knowledge of the area, they're very helpful and really pleasant! The coffee shop at the end of the pier arguably does the best latte in Bangor! If you've never been on Garth Pier, you've really got to visit! What a beautiful structure in a picturesque area! 🙏

We visited the pier in 2019 when it was still being renovated so could not get to the end of it. It is finished now, looks fantastic. The views are gorgeous and it is clear that everyone involved in the project is proud of it. They should be! You are simply asked for a small donation. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful well maintained pier. As piers should be, for promenading, taking in the stunning views and some light refreshments at the end. Go early morning for sunrise or on a summers evening. Lovely and well worth the 50p donation!

With an entry fee of only 50p (and an honesty box if the booth is not manned), the pier stretches about halfway across the Menai Straight giving good views of the surrounding area. There's a nice tea shop at the end serving hot snacks, drinks and a good selection of cakes. A really nice way to spend some time, even when the weather is a bit questionable!

The peer goes quite far out and there's a lovely cafe to sit in, or out on benches. Wonderful place to just sit, have a cup of coffee, enjoy the views with the water flowing below and around - so calming.
