Station Road Surgery

I recently had to register my mum with this surgery and the receptionists were so kind and understanding and considerate. This, in my experience is unique and to have receptionists that care enough to ensure you get what you need is such a huge part of the surgery’s success. I am so grateful that we were able to speak to that lady who was kind and caring in a desperate situation. She ensured everything was sorted and that the doctor was able to do her job for us. Thank you team. Thank you so much. Our first experience was so caring.

I do not often leave reviews but I need to say that I do not agree with the bad reviews on here. My experience with Station Road Surgery has been very positive. All the staff including reception, nurses and doctors are polite and professional and I had no problem phoning the surgery (I had to hold for a while, obviously this would be the case with any surgery). I explained what was wrong and got an appointment with a nurse within the same week and then a follow up appointment with a doctor the following day. Overall a very good experience.

I was very grateful to the receptionist who helped me this morning. I was unable to book an appointment at the surgery but she kindly booked an appointment at the Respiratory Clinic at the Albion Surgery for me which turned out to be perfect.

Was a patient here for 30 years and had moved away. I’ve just moved back and re-registered as a patient. Rang for an appointment this morning and following a phone consultation I went to the practice and saw wonderful Dr Sharma. Thank you all. It’s so good to be back at my old surgery and I’ve received 5 star treatment and attention today.

This is a fantastic surgery staff are always helpful on the phones or at reception. Very helpful x have helped me many a time x. As for the doctors ten out of ten especially Dr Knigge wonderful caring professional doctor x Kim orris

Consistantly very kind and compassionate reception staff. They are very busy but always so friendly and genuinely willing to help. I've never known such lovely reception staff at a GP practice. Dr Vanessa Salih is also an incredible GP and really sets a gold standard for caring about patients/her line of work. To have a GP take the time to sincerely listen to you and care feels like finding a diamond in a haystack. These are the reasons why i'm happy to be registered here.

Appointments always available same day. Usually with the doctor of your choice. It’s so good the way they hold back so many spots for the same day. You simply have to call up at 8am on the dot and wait. Then tell them your name, date of bith, what’s wrong and who you normally see and you will get a phone call back the swme day. If you need a face to face appt they’ll then organise it again same day if needed. By usually seeing the same doc my complex medical needs are managed much more efficiently and with compassion. The receptionists also are cheerful and helpful. Yes we could do wirh more doctors and yes the nhs is overloaded but this surgery is a gem doing their very best to help us.

I am very grateful to Dr Knigge and other doctors for amazing and extremely supportive medical care. They also provide it as quickly as they possibly can. Their receptionists used to be a bit abrupt but this is no longer the case. They are very helpful. Overall, I think that currently the service is very good, and I can wholeheartedly give it five stars.

I have always found the receptionists very helpful and friendly. The doctors and nurses I have seen have also been really good, particularly Elaine and Dr Thebe.
I also really appreciate being able to book appointments after work. I really recommend this surgery! Thanks for all your hard work.

I went into this surgery concerning my elderly father. The receptionist I spoke to was so helpful, she got a phone call from the doctor for me that afternoon wonderful service

Dr Chung prompty arranged an appointment for my sick child and we got a medicine sorted out the same day. He was very kind, gentle and caring with my baby.

I love this surgery. The ladies on reception are always so lovely and the doctors are great. Always manage to get an appointment for me and my son when needed.

My experience has been friendly staff, especially the nurses and my Dr. I appreciate the phone consultations that can be easily booked via their website. Excellent advice and helpful with the issues I have been to see them with.
