Redbridge Islamic Centre (Gants Hill Masjid)

The Redbridge Islamic Centre, located in Gants Hill, is an amazing facility that serves as both a mosque and a community center. I have been attending prayers at this mosque for the past four years, and I can attest to the wonderful atmosphere and sense of peace it provides.

Unfortunately, recently, 2 brothers one called Awais and the vice president have been very rude to me, harsh to me, unkind and unfair to me and have spoken to me, treated me and behaved towards me quite frankly in a intolerant, disheartning and unfair manner and always ignore my salaams, dont give me salaams and talk to other people in front of me to make me feel some type of way and always pick up on my mistakes and judge me very rudely on it as well, something the Shias did the same exact before, but Awais is very very rude to me and treats me like i am NOT a Muslim, and i am upset with him and he even give me a dirty look in the masjid and in Salah- Is this a manner and etiquette of someone who is a regular Mussali and Momin, and his friend does not help the situation as well by judging me on my Salah to the point where i have to break it and he has been judgemental and rude to me on my Salah almost every Fajar.

However on a positive and truthful note,
I love this Masjid for Allah and not for vice president or Awais(not nice to me)- i have spoken to the manager about this and i hope this can be solved as soon as possible so i do not fear these people.

And i respect and have a lot of love for Khairul Bhai, Zakarias, Asad, Intikhab and ShaanurRahman they have maintained their consideration towards me and have not made me feel like i do not belong and always think of my feelings. May Allah reward them and forgive these 2 indiviuals as well as the people from Shia centre who have all behaved the same way.

It's a very Nice Mosque and a really good place for your children to learn the teachers are very kind and respectful

A mosque conveniently located on the Woodford Avenue past Gants Hill Station towards the East. Free parking on the main road. Khutbah delivered in English, friendly congregation with many resources for the Muslim and wider communities. There is also a further site on the A12 going West.

Masjid is based on Quran and sunnah and the main imaams a Islamic scholar says it all. Alhamdulilah.

The Best mosque around with great activities on regular basis for all. Very homely feeling, great Imams with immense knowledge and understanding.

Sermons and talks are done in English which I believe every mosque should accommodate for non Arab and Asian speakers.

On A12 just after Redbridge station, bus stop near by, best place to park is on Cranbrook road.

A small but cosy mosque. The trustee so very polite n kind to my wife n helped out too. On top we got free veg too really free veg that was very fresh. The founders r very blessed as what they have done with the space n where the masjid is n done a great job well done n thank u very much

I did pray Jummah namaz last week was good plaice I was very happy

Recently refurbished. Very nice and inclusive speeches on Fridays before midday prayers. Best to arrive early as can get very busy especially in half term and holiday breaks especially summer holidays.

Great Masjid with a lovely atmosphere. Another user mentioned prayer times. Prayer time calendars are tucked very deep in the menus on the site. If they could be made more prominent on the site then that would create less confusion InshaaAllah

When the advert on the window says best milkshake in town you better believe it cause it'a truly the best I had .... so many flavours too choose from, but I have to say that even if you choose the most plain chocolate milkshake you can have it's soooo tasty. Also the burgers are really tasty and I love the fact that they have grilled halloumi which you can choose to add to your burger ... makes it 10 times tastier :P

The mosque offers qiam ul lail throughout Ramadan starting from 2 am.

Very organised and beautiful mosque. They do so many events especially for children.

Most peaceful place

Love location and definitely it's best for the local community and travelor need place to warship.
May Allah make it bigger and better.
