Sports Direct

Visited here today and needed some advice on what I was buying. I started talking to one of the staff who had great knowledge of the products and who was really helpful. I went backwards and forwards to the changing rooms trying different items in and eventually found what I was looking for. I can’t remember his name but found out he was the manager. Great guy, great service and overall a very good shopping experience. I was a bit sceptical of visiting a Sports Direct store before today but would definitely recommend visiting this branch if you are going to a Sports Direct.

I have been coming to this store for many years and I am given 5 stars mainly for Harris who works there, he has always been exceptional in his customer service and knowledge of the best equipment for my children, from sporting items to casual wear he knows what works well for each requirement and my children always like his recommendations. He is a real asset to this company, always gives a service with a smile and never the sales pitch to take my money.

I walked in at 7:55 and closing time was 8pm. I approached a staff member called Amir who quickly helped me and showed great enthusiasm and a high level of customer service right at the end of the day.

Always pleasant visit and find good variety of items.

I had gone today to the store to get something that I found online. The store assistant was a real nice guy. He got the thing that I wanted. Informed me of other things in the same area and gave me some other options. Not sure if that was because it was Sunday and less people present. But, was really satisfied with the same. Totally worth the 5 Stars.

Been to this store which i haven’t shopped before and I worked in retail stores for one decade and found the store Very helpful , the staff had positive attitude towards the customers as well as issues are dealt very professionally, you know this is my favourite store after today’s visit as they helped me with my size issue and will be my number one store now . Laura and her team are great and very helpful . Highly rated . I will be visiting the store soon when I get my day off . Don’t go any other store it’s worth going to this store as you leave with a smile . I did observe other customers who were also happy 😄well done Laura and Team keep it up.

I had an incredible encounter with Harris who was on the shop floor. As someone who also works in retail, I often have quite high expectations in the service I receive as a customer and I was pleasantly surprised! I was served with the utmost respect and care. Harris was hugely knowledgeable about the products available and was highly attentive to my needs. Supercedeeing that, he brought me different styles/colours and sizes so I could compare and think about what I wanted. He gave me ample of time to consider my options and managed to sell me some add ons to compliment my already great purchase. Definitely would return based on his customer service! Well done and thanks again.

One of the few stores in the area where you can actually find the majority of things in appropriate sizes compared to the town stores! Staff were helpful to guide you to locate items and they have a good range. Store could do with a makeover probably.

For a purchase and exchange. Dealt with two members of staff, both very friendly and helpful. They had exaclty what I needed, in a half size. Queues were short, waiting time low. Really couldn't fault the visit.

I went to Sports Direct Newbury Park today.

Nice big car park which is free for 3 hours.
Store is of reasonable size and square shape which helps with finding stuff relatively easily.

Staff member Kamran was polite and very helpful.
Happy with their service.

Plenty of sportswear and clothing in this shop. Wide selection and nicely displayed. Staff Services was very good and would like to mentioned Harris and Abdi were providing very good information on all our request and Have "want to help customer" attitude which is very welcoming. Well done!

Visited on Friday, store was busy few staff available and all of them were working very hard, especially on shoe section one staff was dealing with 3-4 customers at a time and was extremely helpful giving advice, great customer interaction and fast service many thanks Haris.

Brilliant service! If you do an employee of the month then I nominate Haris. He was so helpful. Very knowledgeable and friendly service. I use made to measure insoles and Haris helped me find the perfect walking boots. Thank you!

A medium sized store with a fair amount of items available. Staff are generally friendly and available to assist.

There was no queue straight in bloke on the door was really friendly and helpful girl loading up shelves was really pleasant and showed me where the stuff was it was a good experience

They always make u feel welcome when u come in & as your looking for something they will always ask u do u need help looking for whatever u need e.g. Trainers, Tracksuit bottoms, 3¼ lengths, shorts, all-in-one. So really Sports Direct in Newbury Park is the best place to get stuff definitely 100%

It has always been one of my favourite stores its wide range of products that are available impress me .Today I needed a knee pad for a twisted knee which was much cheaper than a pharmacy

For the size of the store, it has a very good selection of items to buy with friendly store staff, have shopped in here numerous times and generally end up coming out purchasing something new be it a new set of clothes or a pair of trainers

Outstanding customer service from Harris, assisted with shoes and inserted insoles, and offered any further assistance if we needed it.

Matt was extremely helpful knew his stuff and took time even tho the shop was very busy
