Lewin Sports Injury Clinic

I was recommended to the clinic by a friend. My first appointment was all very professional but friendly. I was introduced to Mani who was to do the evaluation and who started the treatment. He took his time to make sure that I was able to give him all the information I had and to allow him to decide on the best course of action. It was quite clear that he was very confident and clear in his course of action and during the whole process he was also very easy to talk to!!

I received a number of sessions of physio but also was given exercises to carry out in my own time to back up what was being done in the clinic. After three sessions I was considerably improved and then was going on holiday for a month! During this time, and in warmer weather, I was able to continue with the exercises on my own and gradually strengthening the affected parts. I am now in a much better position and will review my progress over the next few weeks before deciding on any further treatment.

I had my physio with Laura Marks and I cannot thank her and the clinic enough for getting me mobile again. Laura worked with me and my pain levels at my pace and adapted exercises for my limited mobility. She also noticed that I had a lot of pain coming from my back as well as my legs and after an MRI and steroid injections later I was able to do more physio exercises and build more on my core strength. I can now walk without my walking stick and if I take it easy I can manage a gentle jog. Having the right physio is crucial to any mobility rehabilitation and I will definitely be using the Lewin Clinic (Laura if she is available) in the future if needed. The Lewin Clinic Team are all wonderful, kind and sensitive and generally a lovely bunch of people you could ever wish to meet. You're in safe hands as soon as you walk through the door.

After 3 months of struggling with severe pain in both knees that several doctors couldn't diagnose, I stumbled across the Lewin Clinic. I spoke with the most amazing and kindest receptionist and explained that it wasn’t an injury but she assured me that I will still be helped. At this point I was hopeless about ever getting better. The physiotherapist I saw is called Mani and he not only gave me exercises to do, he is also the kindest, most knowledgeable and understanding person ever who made me feel hopeful again. I did everything he recommended and 3 weeks later, my knees are practically back to normal and I’ve never been happier. I just want to thank everyone for helping me in so many ways! I really appreciate it!

I cannot recommend Gary highly enough. I went to him after ACL surgery and he was amazing for whole 12 months of physio treatment. He went through all of the exercises in great detail and was very reassuring throughout the process. Would definitely go back to Gary again

Such a positive experience every time - I've seen Colin for a few months for an injury and the treatment has been fantastic. He got me back to sport so quickly and I'm very grateful. I've seen Megan for a sports massage who was equally brilliant, but the whole team are highly qualified and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I'm really grateful for the advice and treatment recieved from Colin, which has allowed me to continue running pain free. I found each session really useful and Colin was instantly likeable and reassuring, providing plenty of clear information as well. My son is a ballet dancer with his ligament torn in June 2023. He visited The Lewin Sports Injury Clinic in July 2023. Colin was the one treating him with six sessions of therapy. Colin’s tailored treatment has accelerated my son’s speedy recovery enabling him to dance again. I received an email from the clinic checking out on the progress of the recovery of my son-in-law October 2023. It’s so nice to receive Colin’s thoughtful concern about my son’s recovery progress three months after the therapy. We can hardly believe Colin still remembers my son, being one of his thousands of patients. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Mani quickly identified the cause of my knee pain and set me up with an effective plan to resolve this over a few weeks/months. I now feel stronger in my knee than before. He was very personable and supportive throughout the process and helpful for information about my physical wellbeing in general. Absolutely recommend Lewin Clinic (the receptionists are also very kind).

Extremely professional and knowledgeable staff. Laura did an amazing job! I had tendonitis on multiple tendons around my right elbow. After just two treatments, the problem was almost gone, and I was provided with exercises do to at home to finish the rehabilitation process. 3 month down the line, there is no sign of my tendonitis! I can`t recommend Lewin Sports Injury Clinic more!

I came to Gary after a broken ankle last September, he has helped and supported me for around 8-9 months. He has been absolutely brilliant for me and has helped me get back to all activities. The Lewin Clinic is fantastic. After having my sixth knee operation Colin was extremely knowledgeable in giving me guidance and the proper recovery plan to be able to return to playing football again. Colin will take the time to reach out and make sure that you are doing well showing his professionalism and care for his patients. The whole Lewin Clinic are extremely kind which makes it a happy environment to be in. I will have no hesitation in returning and I highly recommend it to anyone else. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere you won't find any better than the Lewin Clinic.

Mani was brilliant in assessing my injury and extremely thorough in discussing the potential impact of past injuries or other factors. The diagnosis and rehab were really clearly explained, and Mani even provided additional reading based on our conversation. All round great experience, with a courtesy follow up email on progress after recovery, and friendly staff.

Mani took a conservative and measured approach to treating my teenage son’s hamstring injury, ensuring that the hamstring was strong enough before restarting his busy sport schedule. I am pleased to report a few months on that (touch wood) his hamstrings still feel strong, he is fitter than ever and he is able to follow Mani’s advice on how to warm up correctly before any sport. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mani and the Lewin Clinic to team mates and friends and would feel happy to revisit him with any future sports injuries.

Gary, Colin and the whole team are the crème de La Crème when it comes to professionalism, positivity and keeping their clients up to date with progress and strategy to keep improving. Not only that they listen to the issues raised from those who have day to day lives and jobs and build the rehab around each individual. Superb that I can use the top rate gym at the clinic whilst having treatment also. 5 stars but would be 6 if it was an option. TOP TEAM.

Tore my ACL and recognized the need to undergo reconstruction. It was my first major injury and first surgurical procedure, which made me very apprehensive. The Lewin Clinic came highly recommended by my consultant for my rehabilitation, which given his credentials, carried a lot of weight. I have been working with Colin for 9 months now and have been absolutely delighted with the progress we've made together. I am the farthest thing from an athelete which concerned me initially, but Colin has been extremely patient with me every step of the way. There is no upselling at this Clinic and you have the physiotherapists full attention (you will not be passed off to another member of staff for massage therapy to eat up the clock). The experienced team will create a bespoke plan for you and then expect you to put in the hard yards - beware any physio that promises results without the effort! Additionally, I have been recovering overseas - the staff have been very accomodating in arranging virtual consultations. To any seeking world class care and expertise, I would give the Lewin Clinic my wholehearted recommendation without any reservations. From the bottom fo my heart, thank you Colin & team!

We discovered the Lewin clinic online and so glad we did. My daughter had a sport’s injury and needed some advice and therapy to get back to full fitness for her football. From start to finish everyone was friendly and professional and went the extra mile.

Amazing team deal with from start to finish. Staff on front desk always there on other end of the phone to give me updates and able to answer any questions I had and of course Gary himself was just superb. Gary also took time to call me to update me with appointments etc which obviously is not his role but just shows his care for his patients. Absolutely amazing clinic and can not recommended them all highly enough.
