Dave was really helpful in explaining to us what was wrong with our roof leak and how we could go about fixing it. He spent a fair amount of time on the phone to us, even though he was fully booked and wasn’t able to make it out to us in North London to fix things. Can highly recommend Dave as a trustworthy and reputable roofer - I just wish he lived nearer to us so we could use him!

As well as being very experienced and excellent at his trade, he is also polite, professional, fair priced, honest, reliable and very tidy. Dave did an excellent job replacing tiles lost in the recent storm. He gave us a very reasonable quote promptly after inspecting the job, and came along as soon as the weather allowed to complete the work. Very pleased with the result and I'm happy to recommend him to other local people. He and his partner were polite and professional throughout.

Dave's work I can't fault. Recently he redid our flat roof replacing fibreglass with felt due to a leak, and throughout the process he was very informative on what he was doing. He was thorough in his process, arrived on time and worked quickly to complete the work in time. his work is neat and precise and since having the new roof it is much quieter.
We are very happy with his work and will be using him again for any work needed in the future.

Very nice and honest tradesman. I thought I had a roof leak. It would have been in Dave’s interest as a roofer to recommend investigations. But instead he was very honest and told
me he thought the roof was fine and more likely the dampness was coming from condensation.

David is very professional and made a real effort to meet our needs for a job done quickly at a reasonable price. David Murphy has done two jobs at separate properties for me over the past few months and on both occasions he has been punctual, informative and done quality work on each one. The first was a flat roof replacement over a garage and porch in March 2020. In late November a gutter and facia/soffit upgrade. I am very happy with the quality of the work and at a fair price. David is very professional and trustworthy and I would strongly recommend him.

David Murphy is our go-to roofer. We trust him completely. He does great work and it's always reasonably priced. He starts and finishes when he says he will and is very considerate in carrying out the work. Dave was recommended to me after I found a problem with storm damage to my roof. He quickly found the problem after doing a site visit and provided a competitive estimate. The damaged tiles and rotten batten were replaced and the problem fixed. Great job and thoroughly recommended.

Used D Murphy roofing after a recommendation from a neighbour and seeing the quality of his work locally. I had my roof re-felted and battened and some other work which became evident as the roof was replaced. The team of roofers turned up every day and did an excellent job. The workmanship was first class and I was informed of progress every day. The work was completed very timely and all rubbish was removed. I would highly recommend D a Murphy roofing.

D Murphy was carrying out a roofing job on the house next to me. Whilst he was doing this work I spoke with him and asked about repointing my chimney and valley. He gave me a very honest quote that I was happy with and had him carry out the work. Done a fantastic job. Would highly recommend.

We had the tiles and underlay plus some boards relating to the roof replaced. We had quotes and advice from other roofers, but his quote was good and he is clearly a very experience roofer. He discovered asbestos during the process and arranged for low priced specialists to deal with that. We were concerned about ventilation for a fully lagged loft but he recommended and installed insect protected air vents. Later we found out that his recommendations corresponded with those from independent building research people. He was pleasant and worked continuously on the job, having arrived when he said he would.

Several neighbours saw the quality of the work and chose him to do their roofs.

For us the work was very good value for money and done to the highest of standards.

David and his colleagues recently re-felted two large flat roofs for me. They were punctual and set about the job straight away working solidly all day.  David is conscientious and works hard to do a good job. He kept me appraised of what he was doing throughout and invited me onto the roofs to inspect his work. David and his team did a good job and completely tidied up. We have had some heavy rain showers since and I am pleased to say there have been no leaks.
