Trecastell Hotel always has a welcoming atmosphere perfect for enjoying a pint with friends or sharing a family meal. F

The food here is exceptional, ranging from classic pub favourites to innovative specials.

What I love about Trecastell Hotel apart is its versatility. Whether you're stopping by for a quick pint on a Friday afternoon or gathering the family for a meal, you'll feel right at home.

Speaking of staff, Kayleigh and the team at Trecastell Hotel are always fantastic. Their warm hospitality and attentive service is always appriciated.

We only stopped in for a drink, but the service was amazing. Staff went above and beyond, and gave me a bowl of water for Lola.
There's a dog friendly area where you can stop and have a drink/meal with your dog.
Well stocked bar, lots of spirits, all the "finishes" for your g&t, nice largers draft and bottle.
The food I saw looked lovely and people on the next table commented how lovely it was (they were eating it).
And the view, even from my seat inside the bar was a wonderful view out over the sea. - there are also multiple better gardens (I noticed 2)
I would fully recommend a visit here if you're ever passing by.

Only been here for the Sunday carvery which is superb!, if you get a seat in the conservatory you also get stunning views. Dogs are welcomed but NOT in the conservatory.

Lovely restaurant and very dog friendly! Prices are on the high side but the food was good (particularly the desserts) and our dog enjoyed all of the attention and the large biscuit she was offered.

We three stopped in with the hope they served light lunches. There’s quite a selection but we ordered the ham and pickle baguette and hot beef and onion baguettes, all were served with coleslaw, crisps and salad. I am told the ham and pickle was very good and tasty, our hot beef and onion were delightful, baguettes were cut in half and each half had 2 and a half thick slabs of beautifully cooked, tender beef. All were £6 each or you could have a bowl of soup added for £10, very reasonable prices. So filling that we lasted all the way through to just a light supper. Will definitely be returning

Stayed at the Trecastell for 2 nights and was not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location overlooking the sea between Amlwch and Bull Bay. The rooms were comfortable with updated rn-suite facilities. The food, both breakfasts and from the restaurant was varied, well presented and flavoursome and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning soon.

I popped in for dinner on a recommendation. There are some tables with amazing views so book in advance if you want one of those. The setting is fantastic with a wonderful view.

The restaurant/bar area is modern, clean and all in good order. The staff were attentive. The food was very good. Some unusual choices and well prepared and presented and plenty of it. Price seemed very reasonable

Just went here for an evening meal. Food was excellent, as was the service. Eating a meal whilst seeing the most amazing view through the window was fantastic.
July 23: Back again. Nice to see the place was quite busy, so many places seem to be struggling; as ever, food and service were great

My father in law booked a room for several days and unfortunately he has on set dementia, he was confused and didn't know what he was doing or where he was. He only stayed for one night then came home, I rang and spoke to the manager who refunded me for the nights he didn't stay. He was very helpful and understanding and I would like to say a big thank you for all his help. I would recommend this hotel for their caring and understanding at this difficult time for my family. Thank you again for being so helpful and understanding.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food cooked to order (not instant but better quality). They coped well with my garlic allergy and I still had plenty of choice. Dog friendly. Good value - mid range but better than pub grub!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Great location, lovely food and friendly staff. The hotel is family run and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The sea view from the restaurant and breakfast room is fantastic even if the weathers bad. There is so much to see and do nearby so we will definitely be returning hopefully soon.
