Awesome live venue. First time but will certainly be return.

What a night!! My band "Lounge Lizards" performed in the Cambridge Band Competition, and the Portland Arms music venue was fantastic! The stage was awesome, and the sound quality was unmatched. Tom was a great sound engineer and ensured we sounded great all night. Really looking forward to coming back for another gig!! 😎🦎🦎

Great pub and venue. Selection of food and beers are excellent and the prices are very very good.

I came here recently with friends and was very happy with the beer selection.
The event we went to was called Portland Kombat. Sam put a lot of effort into putting together an arcade paradise with 3 TVs and a projector.
They have a lot of events and I will return soon.
Also the pizzas are whopper and there are a lot of vegan options.

The Portland Arms is a fantastic venue and pub. We visited on a weeknight for a gig in the events room. We arrived an hour ahead, to enjoy some time in the bar, and were greeted by really lovely staff, and a huge choice of drinks. Although we only ordered some snacks, the menu is comprehensive, and there were lots of diners enjoying some great looking grub.

The events room itself is intimate, has its own bar, and is a really stunning place to enjoy live music.

All seven of us commented on the charms of the venue, and will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.

I came here on a Saturday to attend some comedy as part of the sound and vision festival. I didn’t order anything but the pub looked lovely. The toilets were clean although a little small! Their venue space is great and pretty spacious.

Excellent! Two bar areas, main and a "quiet" one. Great selection of beer, delicious flatbread, friendly service. Would absolutely go back.

Great place for local bands and singers. Excellent price for tickets to these gigs.

My favourite pub in Cambridge, would recommend it to everyone. Great staff, atmosphere and an amazing music venue.

Nice pub, we watched comedy. Only had a drink and had the small pot of tiramisu which was perfect to munch on.

Excellent choice of real ales and a great intimate music venue

Me and my husband saw the devout play there.They are a Depeche Mode tribute and and were absolutely fantastic.

Tasty food, decent prices, friendly staff, quick service for lunch. They do pizzas, burgers, gammon and eggs, with a vegan and vegetarian options available.

They have sheltered seats outside and entertainment some evenings.

Love this venue, seen a load of great bands here over the years. It's small, the stage is about a foot high and there's no barrier, so get there early for the best view - either at the front or failing that on the step about half way back.
