Beautiful & green area, slightly off the center of the town but I think it is worth it to sit or even walk by as the view is scenic. It gets even more beautiful if the weather is nice.
Warning it can get quite muddy!

Beautiful site to have a walk with the dog. It's the highest point around Bangor and provides beautiful views of the Menai Strait, from the Telford Bridge all the way to Beaumaris.

One of my favourite places in Bangor. Beautiful during a sunny day for chilling on a bench and enjoying the view. During the night, stargazing and appreciating tbe quietness. Also a great place for walking your dog.

Beautiful views! Just a little walk up the path (admittedly a bit steep) and you get to this wide open space where you can look over Bangor town and the Menai strait. There are several paths to get here, just follow the signs.

Very sheltered, lots of benches, far reaching views. I think the only sign of the camp is the mound

A nice quiet spot above Upper Bangor with good views across to Snowdonia and the Menai Straits.

Relatively small area but a nice mix of forest and field walks. The roman camp part is a large mount with a great view of Bangor. Further over is a bench with a great view of the Menai Strait. Worth a visit just for the views!

I wish some investment would be made into this space, some nicer benches and some heritage plaques. Yes the view are amazing, sea on one side and mountains on the other. Sunrise and sunset are wonderful from here. There are spacious meadow or two and wooded areas, it is a little haven. In the Spring the wooded parts are awash with bluebells, it is so beautiful. Autumn brings other colours..it is simply a lovely little oasis that has nothing to do with Romans but who cares?!

Great views over the whole of bangor, ideal for stargazing or picnics. Not very accessible as there are only a few steep muddy tracks up to it but it's definitely worth a gander

Lovely hidden walk, over looking the Menai straights, can see straight across to Ynys Mon. On a clear day it is beautiful. Living here we are so lucky.

Beautiful views of the Menai straights, both the Telford suspension bridge and the Stephenson railway bridge. Spectacular views of the North Wales coast to Llandudno.

You can see the panorama view of Bangor pier and Menai bridge. Sit and take a fresh air with the view there.
