Awel y Môr Bed & Breakfast

We have stayed in Aberdovey loads of times, but this is our new favourite. Philippa is such a kind and attentive host. We enjoyed an immaculately clean, large room that was very quiet.
Breakfast was plentiful and high quality. A brilliant base for south Snowdonia and Aberdovey beach. We really look forward to staying here again.

Can not fault this establishment. Have have been coming here for at least 12 years. Its mine and Kerrys love nest. PHILLIPA AND COLIN FANTASTIC . There attention to detail is second to none. Quality room and service. Breakfast is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for either of them. You will have to travel a long way to find better hosts .

Philippa and Colin are very friendly and accommodating hosts. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Although the room we had was lovely, comfortable and clean, we would love to stay again, in one of the front rooms with a view🤞🏻

The bed and breakfast was amazing from start to finish, rooms are outstanding, clean and beautiful decorated.

We are very seasoned travellers and have stayed in many b&b’s across the world and have never encountered a b&b before that has been so caringly restored to the highest possible standard of accommodation. The room was gorgeous with amazing views over the beach and the sea. The owners Philippa and Colin had even provided binoculars next to the window seats to add to the enjoyment of looking out to sea. The en suite bathroom was clearly brand new. At breakfast, Philippa was a superb host and gave us loads of ideas about the area around the lovely resort village of Aberdovey, whilst Colin prepared fabulous breakfasts for us. The Welsh breakfast and the scrambled eggs with Salmon are very highly recommended!
Overall, a superb b&b with thoughtful extra touches which enabled us to have a very enjoyable stay in Aberdovey.

Exceeded our expectations! Phillipa and Colin are superb hosts, and when we left after only two nights it felt we were leaving after staying with close family friends.

Breakfast was wide ranging in choice and very well cooked using top quality ingredients.

The rooms and hotel on a whole was renovated to a very high standard (all done by Colin) and the decor is like you expect to find in a 4 and 5 star boutique hotel.

We will certainly visit again, and would recommend this hotel as a base for your holiday to anyone. You will not be disappointed!

spotless. Location excellent, right opposite beach and parking. Within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. Covid restrictions and precautions in place.

Great location just opposite the beach and spacious car park. Just fantastic and highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights in this amazing guesthouse where nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, the room was very comfortable ,top floor with a sea view, very chilled and laid back. Breakfast was excellent and the service provided was top class.

Hosts were very friendly, welcoming & offered advice about dining in the local area. The room was stylish, clean & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious & I enjoyed watching the live feed footage of the local Osprey chicks on the screen in the breakfast room.

I stayed here with my Mum for 5 days and we had a lovely, restful stay. The room was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable and the food was perfectly cooked. Philipa went out of her way to make us feel welcome and even provided gluten free options upon request. Wonderful, thank you.

The room was flawless and furniture was of very high quality, equipped with smart TV, it was an excellent nights sleep, followed by an exquisite breakfast. I booked a room directly with the owners instead of on a site and they were so helpful, I would’ve paid more than the advertised price.

A beautifully renovated Bed and Breakfast. Phillipa and Colin are excellent hosts and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast menu is excellent. I would definitely recommend this guest house.

Absolutely fantastic stay in a lovely room with a sea view, but what made it special was the host could not help enough nothing was too much trouble. We were made very welcome well worth a 5* rating

We have just returned from aberdovey the weather was awful the only reason we braved out the snow and the winds was because the bed and breakfast and the beachwalk room where we stayed for three nights was just perfect

Phillipa made a pot of tea for while we settled into the room, the bed was a really big king size and so comfy

The bathroom was fabulous, the room was warm all of the time, absolutely spotless, excellent breakfast nothing was to much trouble

Can highly recommended Awel y Mor bed and breakfast the sea viewroom is one of the best
