On holiday, My Birthday and after reading the reviews there wasn't another place worthy to go (me liking Indian food swayed that decision lol) I had a Chicken Balti with Garlic Nann and Mushroom Pilau Rice, Absolutely delicious it's a pity we live so far away esle I'd be in here most weekends, we'll worth a visit you will not be disappointed..

Really excellent Indian food. Ordered a variety of dishes to share with my family and we all really enjoyed everything. One of those meals where you repeatedly mention how much you're enjoying it as you eat it.

No long opened still having a few teething problems please don't let this put you off.
We a party of six had a wonderful evening here on our first night in this wonderful village.
Service will improve I'm sure as they find their feet.

was lovely all came out as was ordered nice and hot some a little too hot 🔥.
When we revisit the village we will be eating here again.

Got a takeaway 17/08/22. We got poppadoms and pickle tray, Peshawari Nan.pilau rice a lamb Naga and chicken tikka masala. The food was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very polite and the service and wait time was very good ...if you're visiting Aberdovey and like an Indian then I highly recommend..

Review of Bay of Bengal, Tywyn recently opened Exceptional, we were with great company and that was equally matched with the quality of service and food. My wife had the sea bass and thought it amazing but all four dishes were fabulous and good portion size. All too often in Indian restaurants you feel as if you're being rushed so they can get the next 'bums on seats' but not here. The table service was every bit as good as the food and they were happy to chat about Wales, India and other experiences, made it a perfect evening. Thank you

Couldn't fault this restaurant. The food and service were excellent. Thank you to Snow who served us. Best curry we have had in years and we are very fussy!! Can highly recommend. Nearly didn't go because of bad reviews. So glad we did!!

Excellent food. Excellent service. We come to Aberdovey 3 or 4 times a year.
This is our favourite Indian food restaurant anywhere.
Our eldest daughter hasn't been able to come with us this time and we are under strict instructions to take one home for her. Can't recommend enough.

Curry is good quality, brown in colour as it should be (not illuminous red/yellow)......
Quick and friendly service, restaurant and takeaway.
Alcohol license not an issue, bring your own or they have an agreement with the pub next door (The Britt) where you can get your own drinks.

Superb Indian food, with a cosy and lively setting. The chef's Madras curry is one of the best I've tasted. It's just around the back of the Britannia Inn, which is another of the best restaurants in Aberdovey. Two gems within 25 metres of eachother. I would highly recommend a visit.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Bay of Bengal last night. The staff were very polite and friendly. We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Absolutely lovely food for a takeaway! We live in Birmingham where we are spoiled for Indian/Pakistani food, but this was very good. We are only here for a few days but will definitely visit a second time.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time and food here, excellent and friendly service, witnessed a not so nice table be quite rude to the staff of which they handled very professionally… will definitely be coming back :)

Great little Indian just off the front.Enough on the menu for most people. Bring your own drinks too. You can also bring in drinks from the pub next door or across the road. All in all a decent experience.

Great little curry house hidden away in rural Wales. Was inexpensive, but not cheap, good selection on the menu, friendly staff and very accommodating. Would definitely go again.

Had take away from there last night 10/06/19. Was hot, fresh and delicious. Not much of a wait at all!
