Fine local pub, interesting bar and fireplace backdrop. Great for a walk, beer and friends. High quality ales, impressed tonight by real ale from Purple Moose and Conwy Breweries. Happy to see a classic pub back in business.

Lovingly restored pub dating to the 17th century. They always have at least one local ale on tap which is really well kept. Ales change regularly. Good range of spirits and excellent service. Only problem is the steep hill back home.

Dropped in this evening for a swift pint and glass of wine. A very hospitable welcome in a traditional pub atmosphere. Lovely to see it open again.

Nice bartender and manager. The atmosphere is homely and calm. we didn't try any food, but the drinks glasses here were nice. The tables and chairs all feel like they're good quality and we're all clean
